Triumphant Tone from Wampler

When it comes to great tone, the Triumph Overdrive from Wampler’s new Collective Series is breaking down barriers for players of all levels. The Triumph captures a wide range of foundational overdrive sounds with elegant simplicity — Smooth and Punch voice switch options offer two radically different gain structures for easy leaps between classic and modern tones. The Triumph’s Smooth voice is warm with airy midrange emphasis and lots of natural compression; in contrast, the Punch voice is hefty and focused with noticeable bite and boosted bass. Our Sweetwater team found both voices instantly usable without much tweaking — a sign of a truly great overdrive — but what really sets the Triumph apart is its 3-band EQ. With control over bass, mid, and treble frequencies, the Triumph is incredibly easy to tweak to taste. But beyond taste, it gives the pedal a distinct but flexible identity. You can easily switch guitars or even amps, and adjust the EQ as needed while retaining the flavor that makes each of the pedal’s voices unique. What’s more, the Triumph Overdrive comes with a 5-year limited manufacturer warranty. With features like these, the Triumph not only lives up to its name, but it's also a no-brainer buy for both pros and amateurs who need a workhorse pedal that won’t break the bank.

Wampler Triumph Overdrive Pedal Features:

  • Rich, flavorful overdrive pedal with voice switch toggle
  • Smooth mode offers classic vintage-voiced liquid gain with an airy midrange hump
  • Punch mode offers a more sensitive response with extra bite and enhanced bass
  • Versatile 3-band EQ makes the Triumph adaptable to any amp, guitar, or style of music
  • Part of Wampler’s new Collective Series of high-quality affordable pedals
  • Power at 9V or 18V
  • Includes a limited 5-year manufacturer warranty

Great versatility
The price point of the pedal makes it a must grab! Much more versatility than a Tubescreamer or a Klon with a 3 band eq, two clipping modes and it runs 9v-18v. This overdrive hits above it's weight class!
Music background: Amateur drummer and guitarist
THE CHALLENGE!: a/b comparo this to every other od you have.
do an a/b test challenge of this to your other od's...
the Triumph literally beat out so many other od's i own;
lower noise floor, extremely good mid-gain classic rock tone.
this is a desert-island pedal for me.

i found it sounds a lot like my J.Rockett gold archer klon.
i'd read the Triumph was partially based on the digitech bad monkey,
and that the bad monkey was partially based on the klon centaur.

i replaced the white knobs with tan ones that match the tan stripe.
now it looks like 1970s Johnny West action figures.
Wampler does it again!!! Yes!
I absolutely love this pedal and i've owned an absurd amount of drives over the years. Brian has done it yet again. The Triumph is one of the most diverse sounding overdrive pedals i've ever owned or heard, possibly the most diverse. The EQ is excellent, the sound perfect for lower or higher gain drive and blends exceptionally well with other pedals. Can work at 9v or 18v and i love it so much at 9 i've yet to even try it at 18. it's become a vital part of my sound in how it colors and blends on so many different kinds of music. Can be rich and warm light drive or work higher gain situations and blend with distortions and fuzz and other drives beautifully. Can't beat it. Brian built another awesome overdrive pedal.
Music background: long time performing, recording music
Another 5 star, because it deserves it

I was searching for a nice OD pedal that could handle many ranges of tones and styles. . After playing on over 15 different overdrives I discovered the Triumph.

From the second I kicked it on I fell in love with the sound. It's the OD you're looking for. It has a warm creamy character as well as a gainy growl when it's pushed.

I tried the TS pedals to get that subtle gain but I couldn't ever get them to that sweet spot, but the Triumph was an excellent find!

I think the opposite of mr 2*s - it sounded good online which is what drew me to it, but once I got to play with my different guitars I realized it sounds better in person!

Nice job for a clone
Clones a boss SD1 and digitech bad monkey OD with the benefit of true bypass and running at 18v which I recommend! Very tweakable especially withe the 3 band eq and internal controls.
