Reviews

Great inexpensive guitar!
I bought this Squier a couple of weeks ago because I've always wanted a Tele to fill in the sonic gap between my Strat Plus and SG. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of this guitar. The setup was fine right out of the box, the pickups get a good Telecaster sound, and the neck is fabulous! Get one!
From a drummer's perspective...
Technically i'm a drummer who strums some acoustic guitar. I'm not a lead guitar player and never expect to be one. I've never owned an electric guitar and have rarely played one. So that's the perspective this is coming from.
Right from the start, from what i can tell, this is an excellent guitar...not good, excellent. I did a string change immediately (Elixir Nanoweb 10-46) tuned it up and played it. Once the strings broke in it played and sounded awesome! Much better action than my acoustic and i pretty quickly got the sound i wanted (clean and bright). Everything on this guitar looks and feels first rate. The finish and detail are perfect...what i would expect from a Fender product.
I've played a few high end electrics that belonged to band members and i can't see or hear difference. Probably if i directly A-B'd them i could, but the quality is that close.
Great bang for the buck for the beginner, club players and even pros imo.
Music background: Drummer since 1965 !
Great guitar
A+ great playing guitar
Great guitar out of the box.
It actually sounds good as is. Surprisingly enough it didn't need a setup which is very unusual for even an expensive guitar. The thinner body made the neck joint less bulky than a normal thickness which was an unexpected bonus.
Music background: I've been playing since 1978.
great tele. can't go wrong with squire
squire is a GREAT entry point for guitarists, beginner or not. you can get these to sound amazing so long as you know what you're doing, and best of all the pickups on this tele are great. i had lower expectations bc of how much it costs, but don't let that fool you, it's a great guitar.
Music background: indie artist
