Splendid Comfort and Sturdiness

The 600 series of drum thrones by Mapex puts maximum seat comfort and performance stability within the reach of all timekeepers. From the ground up, the 600 series offers a dependable build that lets percussionists play with as much passion as the moment demands without having to worry about slippage, teeter, or ache from constant play. It starts with a double-braced tripod base, reinforced with extra-large anti-slip rubber feet for maximum sturdiness at all playing intensities. This T685 model features height adjustability by way of a threaded steel spindle mechanism with an adjustable spindle lock, ensuring that drummers of all builds can find a comfortable performance height with a total positioning focus to suit any show, session, and drum set. The T685 also comes outfitted with a larger 14-inch x 4-inch saddle top cushion that not only provides incredible comfort behind the kit, but also introduces a 2.5-degree backward decline that helps players remain perfectly situated in place throughout the set list. Excellent for studio devotees and gigging drummers alike, the Mapex 600 series from Sweetwater will keep you feeling fine, track after track.

Reviews

Excellent throne
I'm honestly surprised to see no other reviews on this throne. It is exceptionally comfortable, can be adjusted to be much higher than the base model of the ROC-n-SOC and is much cheaper, too.

A total winner in my book.
