The Stratocaster Never Goes Out of Style

The Squier Classic Vibe '70s Stratocaster solidbody electric guitar brings you true Stratocaster tone, looks, and feel at a great value. Despite its affordable price, it offers more than you may expect, including a real bone nut and Fender-designed alnico pickups. Everything you need for a genuine Stratocaster experience is here, from the player-favorite "C" neck shape to the vintage-style tremolo bridge. And its narrow tall frets offer the feel of a classic Strat. Whether it's your first Strat or your 50th, Sweetwater is sure you'll be impressed with the Squier Classic Vibe '70s Stratocaster.

Vintage-inspired pickups

These Fender-designed single-coil Strat pickups feature alnico magnets for that signature Strat snap. A humbucking pickup in the bridge position gives you access to lead tones with impressive punch and girth. And with a five-position blade, Master Volume, and two tone controls, you have a wide array of sounds to dial in, and near-infinite stylistic colorings to explore across genres.

That neck!

The "C"-shaped maple neck on this Classic Vibe '70s Stratocaster sets a great foundation for practically any style of player. We know that the feel of a neck is one of the most subjective parts of a guitar, but it's worth noting that even seasoned Strat players are impressed with this neck. It's everything you need to make you fall in love with that distinctive Strat feel, the one that players like Clapton fell in love with.

Squier Classic Vibe '70s Stratocaster Solidbody Electric Guitar Features:

  • Lightweight, balanced poplar body with classic Strat cut feels right and plays great
  • Beautiful maple neck with comfortable "C" shape
  • Three Fender-designed alnico pickups kick out classic Strat tone
  • 21 narrow tall frets deliver the feel of a vintage Strat
  • Vintage-style tremolo bridge for expressive bends and dives

Black Tone MONSTER
Great workhorse guitar for the money!!! Played great right out of box!!! Tuned it up and went off!!!
Music background: Former metal bands in 80's.
Bang for Buck!
It has been about 10 years since I have owned an electric guitar. Back when I played it was with a TV yellow Epiphone SG and I loved it but it just didn't give me the tones I heard from other guitars. This Squier Strat is just versatile and checks a lot of boxes. The Maple neck and Fretboard have great playability…the gloss on the back didn't bother me at all (and it looks great!). Kept tune for the 2 hours I played it yesterday and that was with some yanking on the whammy bar. Highly recommend!
Gibson lovers Stratocaster
Never owned a Stratocaster so didn't want too much invested in a guitar I might not like at all. I bought on line so it could have been a risk. When delivered the feel in my hands was great. Workmanship was flawless to my eye anyway. The action was medium low and intonation was already set perfectly. The tone was good but didn't like the strings. Vintage tuners make changing strings simple and fast. The tuners and bone nut keep this guitar in tune longer than my Les Paul. Now having owned this Classic Vibe for several weeks it's already found a place in my practice work. Pretty sure I don't need another Stratocaster but with this one sounding and playing as good as it does I'm already eye balling an American HSS Stratocaster.

A very good guitar. Ordered Saturday and recieved Tuesday. Perfect neck fret edges pickups just everything. Sweetwater is tremendous. I will be a lifelong customer.
Music background: 59 playing since 16
Great Stratocaster for the price
This is a great Strat for the price and very fun to play. The pickups sound good to me and the electronics roll off better than expected. The intonation was way out upon arrival and the strings were quite old and worn. No fret work needed. Tremolo is floored to the body which is how I like it. The tuners work well. I wanted a cheap Stratocaster that I could make a few changes to but I will take my time as everything sounds and works great. The Humbucker in the bridge has a nice bite to it without being harsh. Hard to beat the price point!
