Great Value
Blows the onboard iPhone mic out of the water. Definitely worth the money.
This mic works very well...but...
Works great for social media content for my voiceover career...and is a great value... however, need to be sure to also but the lightening adapter/extender for it to fit through the port opening on many iPhone case models.

Great Sound for a Great Price
For me, it's very difficult to find a mobile microphone that's decent enough to be called a microphone. However, I have been playing around with the Saramonic DI Mini for a few weeks now and ,from what I can tell so far, I see that it is great for things like Vlogging and things where you don't need to monitor yourself at the same time.

If you're looking for professionally recording gear, I would look for something a little better. This mic is great for what it is considering it's tiny size. I bought a mic off of Amazon for the same price, but the DI Mini beats it by a long shot. It's crazy how much clearer the DI Mini sounds compared to the other mic.

All in all, I think this mic is great for a vlogger or someone who doesn't care about monitoring themselves and other audio in real time. I myself will be using it for YouTube shorts and TikTok videos. I'll be purchasing a more professional mic later on.
Improve recorded sound for Apple lightning phones and tablets
The microphones with short lightning connectors all seem to be too large to fit the various protective case solutions for iPhones and iPads. This particular mic, just like the similar Shure and Zoom lightning mics, will not fit with Moment cases on iPhones, used for photography. Lightning port extenders may compensate for the bulbous plastic that keeps the lightning connector from seating. The mic and case folks should get together to make their products work with each other.
Music background: Corporate audio; church music.
Not any better than your iPhones microphone
I wouldn't recommend buying this. The mic really isn't any better, in fact I would venture to say the iPhone mic is actually better than this mic. I did a ton of side by side comparisons of the same audio and overall this just isn't worth it.
