A Slim-bodied Sensei with a Noiseless Edge
Loaded with twin Steelhead pickups, the Sensei 290 dishes out hot-rodded sonics with whisper-quiet performance. This solidbody electric guitar’s twin Steelhead P-90s utilize a distinctive dual-coil setup to simultaneously capture classic P-90 warmth and sharpen up your sonics with modern definition. Its medium oval neck profile and 12-inch-radius ebony fretboard set a fantastic foundation for fast, precise playability, and gigging musicians will surely appreciate the boost in stability and note sustain from the Sensei’s korina 3-piece set neck. Moreover, the Sensei's korina body has been thinned down for reduced weight and a more comfortable feel when you're rocking the stage. With premium components like Pin-lock tuning machines, a Pure Tone jack with a custom jack plate, and a built-in treble bleed circuit to maintain clarity when you roll the volume back, we're convinced here at Sweetwater that you'll discover the Reverend Sensei 290 is a world-class instrument right out of the case.

Warm, resonant tonewoods with professional playability
The Sensei H90 owes much of its rich, warm tone to korina, a medium-light tonewood sonically similar to mahogany. This guitar’s body and 3-piece neck are made from this articulate tonewood, which provides stability and boosts sustain with a lively, responsive sound. The 12-inch-radius, 22-fret ebony fingerboard offers a classic feel and excellent playability; the sharp double cutaway provides easy access to the upper frets. A tone-sharpening Boneite nut and expertly placed body tapers round out the build for a guitar that is as beautiful to look at as it is to play.

The Steelhead P-90: modern design meets classic tone
Reverend’s Steelhead P-90 pickups deliver the sought-after richness of classic P-90 pickups with a healthy dose of modern clarity, output, and response. The passive dual-coil design under the cover is turned sideways to eliminate the traditional 60-cycle hum and to focus its magnetic field on a single row of steel poles. Two Alnico V magnets ignite the Steelhead P-90 with smooth mids and shimmering highs, while the overwound coils add punch, firmness, and immediacy to your pick attack. Featuring a wide magnetic field and oversized pole pieces, the Steelhead P-90 set delivers enhanced headroom, dynamic attack, and unfaltering output consistency from string to string. From articulate rhythm work to responsive leads, the Steelhead P-90s deliver a sound that feels alive beneath your fingers, offering a versatile working palette that honors the warmth and authority of traditional humbuckers while confidently stepping into modern territory.
