Synergy Marshall JMP Preamp Module
Sells separately for $399.99Born in the late 1960s, the Marshall JMP — a.k.a. the Plexi — delivers what's arguably the most iconic tube-fueled crunch in guitar history. The Synergy Marshall JMP packs this legendary sound into a convenient 2-channel preamp module, enabling you to harness the classic British-infused voice used by such influential players as Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Paul Kossoff, and Eric Johnson. Loaded with two 12AX7 preamp tubes, the Synergy module injects your playing with the same aggressive midrange bite, punchy low end, and crisp highs as the full-size amplifier. Moreover, the built-in Zero Watt power amp section allows it to replicate the original amplifier's phase inverter circuitry. This full-featured module brandishes two identical channels, each with Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 controls, enabling you to access the original amplifier's input-jumpered configurations. You also get per-channel Bass, Middle, Treble, and Master volume controls. Moreover, per-channel '60s/'70s switches enable you to toggle between early- and later-era JMP tones, and you get two Bright switches for each channel. You also get a 3-position cathode select switch for configuring your input tube bias setting. Players with a serious craving for classic British crunch will find the Marshall JMP module endlessly satisfying.
