Rabea’s Sculpted Spin on the Classic Sabre
Designed in collaboration with the esteemed 6-string artist and content creator extraordinaire Rabea Massaad, the Ernie Ball Music Man Rabea Massaad Artist Series Sabre comes fine-tuned for expressive solo work and sonic versatility. This guitar’s lightweight alder body is topped with a stunning slab of flame maple, sporting a slightly modified Sabre shape that Sweetwater guitarists love for its recessed lower horn, which allows superior upper-fret access. The ultra-stable roasted figured maple neck features a custom neck carve that starts off with a somewhat thick feel toward the neck, then smooths out as you climb the ebony fingerboard’s heavy-duty stainless steel frets. Under the hood, you get two boutique-grade Bare Knuckle Rabea Massaad Silo humbuckers, along with a versatile 5-way switch and coil splits — a combo spec’d out by Rabea to cover both atmospheric clean ambience and the most punishing metal-minded brutality. A rock-solid hardware pairing of a Music Man vintage-style tremolo and Schaller locking tuning machines seal the deal, all adding up to a supremely high-performance 6-string with enough versatility to keep up with Rabea’s genre-defying chops.

Silo humbuckers deliver a bombshell blast of humbucking tones
Rabea’s signature Bare Knuckle Silo humbuckers were born from his need for a pickup that perfectly covers both expressive, textured clean tones and all-out aggression. On the clean side, Silo humbuckers are engineered for an exceptionally warm and full-bodied sound, with a focus on picking dynamics and volume pot sweeps. Drive them into distortion, and you’ll be rewarded with an authoritative, hard-hitting voice that retains definition with even the most finger-twisting extended chord voicings. Lastly, the Ernie Ball Music Man Rabea Massaad Artist Series Sabre comes equipped with a 5-way pickup selector and a push-pull coil split (available only on positions one and five) for the utmost sonic versatility.

Modified Sabre body for superior fret access
The Ernie Ball Music Man Rabea Massaad Artist Series Sabre’s body comprises a lightweight piece of alder topped with a stunning slab of flame maple — a potent tonewood combo that’s primed for singing clarity and attention-grabbing looks. And while this guitar proudly wears the “Sabre” title, Rabea’s take on the sword features a slightly recessed lower horn that offers superior access to the fingerboard’s entire range. Combined with the roasted figured maple neck’s comfortable custom neck carve, it all adds up to an incredibly high-performance playing experience that’s sure to please even the most technique-heavy shredders.
Music Man tremolo and Schaller locking tuners make staying in tune easier than ever
With the Rabea Massaad Artist Series Sabre’s Music Man tremolo tailpiece, you’ll get in tune and stay there. It’s constructed from chrome-plated hardened steel with bent-steel saddles. The headstock is equipped with Schaller locking tuners, making string changing fast and easy. Just insert the string, tighten the clamp screw, and tune it up to pitch. Strings won’t be wound around the shaft, so your tuning will be reliable no matter how hard you play.
