Fine-tune Your Guitar’s Tone with This Flexible EQ

The Source Audio EQ2 Programmable Equalizer adds 10 flexible bands of sonic sculpting to your guitar rig. This state-of-the-art pedal packs a true stereo signal path and the ability to apply different presets to the Left and Right channels. The EQ2 Programmable Equalizer also includes up to 12dB of clean boost for pushing the front end of your amp, perfect for punching up solos and song intros. And once you’ve got your sound dialed in, you can save it as one of eight recallable user presets. The EQ2 Programmable Equalizer pedal also includes a MIDI input for switching between up to 128 presets, controlling parameters, and engaging/bypassing the effect.

Use the Neuro software editor for deep customization

The real magic with the EQ2 Programmable Equalizer is accessed with the free Neuro software editor for mobile and desktop. In addition to fine-tuning all aspects of the equalizer, you'll be able to engage an optional dynamic limiter as well as a handy noise gate. You'll be able to access alternate signal routing schemes or even apply different EQ settings to each of the stereo channels.

±18dB of range over 10 frequency bands

The EQ2 Programmable Equalizer packs 10 frequency bands with a boost/cut of ±18dB per band — that’s a lot of sound shaping! Whether you want to sculpt your high-gain tones to perfection or eliminate unwanted feedback, this equalizer pedal is a powerful way to fine-tune the sound of your guitar rig.

Up to 12dB of clean boost

Besides offering top-drawer sound shaping, the EQ2 Programmable Equalizer also offers up to 12dB of clean boost. This transparent volume bump is a great way to increase your volume for solos or goose the front end of your amp for natural breakup. Guitarists at Sweetwater love our boost pedals, but it's hard to beat the convenience of having one built into our EQ pedal.

Reviews

Does exactly what I needed it to do!
I play Gypsy Swing on an acoustic archtop and I'm running this in the effects loop of my Tonedexter preamp. I was looking for a more 'surgical' EQ to eliminate some of the extra noise/sympathetic ringing. I also use the high pass filter to leave a little more room for the upright bass, roll of the treble a bit, and bring the mids slightly down. Being able to really get in there with the software (as if I'm EQ'ing in my DAW) is incredible. It really tames and improve my sound. It's so awesome that it has two independent channels as I am also running my rhythm player thru channel two. Very pleased! In the pics... archtop in red, tenor guitar in blue.

Amazing EQ and Way More
This is the eq and more I've been looking for all my nylon string guitar. To have adjustable high pass filter and low pass. Then also an added bonus is the noise gate. Now the eq. To be able to adjust the frequency, q, and level any way you need is just such a blessing and great tool. I use the pedal with my Yamaha SLG200NW and it really tames the lows, mid lows to what I need so I can tell the FOH just keep me flat and all will be good. I also use it on two other nylon string guitars with LR Baggs Lyric, and Dual Source pickup systems. Pre/ Save storage work great. I run from the wireless in mono and out from eq to stereo. The editing software rocks from Source Audio (I've only used it on a mac Intel Mac Book Pro) Source Audio and Sweetwater are just amazing companies to work with. Thanks Chris M and Sweetwater staff for getting the pedal in great shape and quick.

The best 10-band EQ pedal I’ve ever used.
#1 The sound you can get from this pedal for different guitars and pickups is phenomenal. That's the most important thing after all!
The ability to store 8 settings on the pedal without connecting to free SW on your computer to manipulate everything that this pedal is capable of. It's a lot! Parametrically, you can tweek so much using the free SW on your computer if you want to and, save up to 120 different modes if that's what you need!
I use 8. It's enough for me.
Sounds Awesome.

Thanks Source Audio!!!

I've bought Sooo many EQ pedals since the 80's and none of them compare!

Excellent
This pedal is excellent. If you are searching for an EQ, to enhance your tone, with the options to change it on the fly depending on what your playing, this pedal will provide you multiple EQ configurations all available by pressing the button. You could either set up the EQ using its buttons or an appplication downloaded to your cell or tablet. The EQ 10 bands are enough, to keep it simple, but giving you multiple frequencies to play with. Could be more expensive than other options on the market but it is worth it.
Amazing. Typical Source Audio wizardry
The EQ 2 has pristine audio quality, a non existent noise floor and the feature set is ridiculous... This one pedal replaced a tuner, limiter and the first gen Source a Audio EQ on my board.
One application is pre and post EQ on your board. instrument or efx loop into input 1, end of your efx chain into input 2 and then to your amp or complete the efx loop. Use the second side to restore any body lost in the chain.
Another is to gain balance instruments with varying output levels. I often run a passive 4 string P bass and an active PJ 5 string.
