I got this to replace my Z-stand. While I loved the sturdy Z stand when it was set up, it was a real pain to take down and haul around. It ripped up the inside of the car, and my husband/roadie hated that thing so much that he abandoned it with glee when we had to buy a new smaller car-hee hee.
So this keyboard table is a much more streamlined look and fits my Roland FP-60 perfectly. I do a combination of teaching online in my living room and hauling the keyboard around for gigs, and this stand folds up much more compactly and fits amongst the gear in the car far better! Plus, I really enjoy not having a bar underneath like the Z-stand has- much easier on my shins when I reach my leg under for the sustain pedal! I was worried that it would be a bit more unstable without that bar, but I'm very happy with the stability also. No downsides for me!

Hi! I love my gator frameworks GFW utility-TBL heavy duty keyboard stand. It is perfect for my Komplet Kontrol S61 MKIII keyboard controller. Out of the box. It was already the perfect height for my needs. Although, it has some adjustments that are perfect for standing or sitting. Two surprises hit me right off the bat. First off it has a little leveling bubble in the middle of the stand. Secondly, I was surprised to find out that the feet will unscrew so that you can get this perfect level, which I didn't really understand why you would need to have it perfectly level. But again that is a plus. For me I was thrilled to find out that the feet unscrewed because I really wanted to put 2 inch caster wheels on it so I could easily hide it away under my work station and pull it out when I needed to. That's because I have limited space to work with in my studio. However, it took me four tries to get the right wheels to put on it. When I first measured the threads it appeared that they were 3/8", but I was wrong and had to send those back because they were too large . So I ordered a set that were 5/16" and again they did not fit and the thread pattern was slightly off. That being the case that they were both too big I assumed I needed the one quarter inch threaded bolt pattern but again I was wrong. In the end, I went to a hardware store and took one of the threaded feet with me. A sales rep went through all of the bolts and thread patterns, and it wasn't until he suggested "maybe this is a metric threaded bolt." Indeed, it turned out that the correct threaded bolt pattern was M8-1.25 x 25mm. I wish somewhere in he product info this information would have been available. It would've saved me and anyone else wanting to put castor wheels on the bottom of their keyboard stand a lot of trouble trying to figure out which bolt thread pattern to pick. Hope this is helpful. I hope Gatorworks includes this info in the future.

Perfect for my Gretsch G5700 Lap Steel
I use the table in its smallest setting and its perfect size and height for my lap steel. It would be easy to build a small wooden table top and then have my two lap steel guitars on it at once.

The table is super sturdy and the adjustments are perfect. Its quite nice looking too.

I love this stand!
I was always a die hard X-stand guy. Easy, light, did the job just fine for me. Since I've been doing almost all gigs now where I play guitar and keys and also use my Helix as a MIDI controller for my Stage 3, I was tired of having to set up my Helix off to the side and also to get my KB high enough, my X-stand had to be at least on the 2nd highest notch. I went to the highest notch last gig and while I didn't have any issues, the narrowness of the stand made me a little nervous (I'm a stand-up player).

So after a ton of searching I settled on this Gator Frameworks table stand and I LOVE it. It's definitely heavier but the benefits outweigh the cons. SOLID. Tons of room underneath. Looks great. Easily folds up and can be stashed on the back floorboard of my car. Has a level bubble on the table and screw adjustable feet for any stand leveling that may need to be done. Width adjustable to suit many boards. Used it for the first time at rehearsal tonight and I'm SOLD!
