Great for keyboards

This is about the extended height version of the Roc-N-Soc Nitro. Lowest height is about the same as most piano stools. Goes up from there. Very comfortable seat, the hydraulics give a little bounce, and it is nice to be able to swivel around to talk to other members in the band. Okay, it's fun to swivel around any time! It's all bouncy and swivelly! Seriously, you won't be disappointed with this stool.

Come on in, grab a seat... You Won't regret it!!!

I purchased this throne because it had all the features that I was looking for. I was tired of messing with nuts, bolts, and screws and drum keys to adjust, tighten, and secure the height of a seat. I am a Worship Pastor at a medium sized Church in Southwest Va. we do multiple services per week as well as rehearsals. I also have 3-5 drummers who will play during the course of these sessions. My best drummer came to me asking for a back rest (due to an injury) he was having back and spine issues. In order for one to play to the best of their ability comfort is a must! I needed a throne that was adjustable on the fly, had a back rest option, and was comfortable. This is no ordinary drum stool, it earns the title THRONE because all 5 of our drummers love it, and feel as if they are a King when they place their "cheeks" upon it's splendor. I definitely would recommend the optional back rest, it is adjustable as well. The seat portion and backrest is perfectly contoured to fit most every size and shape. I would highly recommend this pairing to any drummer at any level.

Roc-n-Soc drum throne

Love the neumatic feature which allows for easy height adjustment. Like that the throne is heavy & sturdy; and of course the thickness of the seat makes it very comfortable. Looking forward to getting the attachable back rest which means extra comfort when using throne for guitar practice.

Roc-N-Soc Nitro Drum Throne

I use this seat for Drums, Solo Guitar Performances, and Playing Keyboards...My weekend Gigs are about 10 hours on the "Throne."Each Instrument I play requires a different height and the gas shock allows you to do that in seconds...I also purchased the backrest which is easily removable...The whole setup packs up nicely with other equipment in a carrying crate...I highly reccomend this Throne and the Guys at Sweetwater are the best to work with there is !!!!Ed "CAVU" Johnson

At 6'2", big and and long-legged, I find most drum seats to be inadequate: too short, too small, and too stiff. The Roc-N-Soc extended version fits my fanny, has plenty of bounce, and lets me reach the pedals in a natural position.I also use it for guitar (with optional foot pegs), and keyboards. An all-around GREAT throne for far less than many competing offers.
