This Axe was Built to Shred!

The shred-ready Jackson JS22 Dinky solidbody electric guitar was made to create sonic mayhem. The amazingly affordable JS22 Dinky serves up massive tone and killer sustain — courtesy of its arched poplar body, tremolo tailpiece, and two high-output ceramic humbuckers. You'll relish the uber-playability of the maple speed neck and fat-fretted, compound-radius amaranth fingerboard that lets you chord blissfully and shred without the fear of fretting out. Say hello to your new weapon of choice: the Jackson JS22 Dinky.

Jackson high-output pickups deliver the ultra-hot tone you need to tear it up

Looking for rock-solid metal tone? The Jackson JS22 Dinky delivers! That's because Jackson hooked the JS22 Dinky up with a pair of their custom-built ceramic-magnet humbuckers. These high-output humbuckers give you plenty of punch and serious bite - just what you need for today's most aggressive guitar styles.

Compound-radius fretboard delivers maximum playing comfort and performance

The JS22 Dinky features a 12-16-inch compound-radius fretboard for ultimate playability. This bound amaranth fingerboard (complete with classic Jackson shark fin inlays) is rounder near the nut for easy rhythm playing. As your playing heats up and moves up the JS22 Dinky's fretboard, the radius flattens out for easier runs and big string bends. With a neck that plays this slick, you'll be up at the 24th fret before you know it.

If looks could kill...

If you're after a guitar that looks as mean as it sounds, then Sweetwater has your axe. The Dinky body shape alone is enough to convey instant attitude. Throw in an arched top, Jackson's distinctive pointy headstock, and shark fin inlays, and you've got one arresting-looking guitar. The Jackson JS22 Dinky is one of the sharpest-looking guitars around; it's a serious axe wielder's instrument of destruction.

Jackson JS22 Dinky Solidbody Electric Guitar Features:

  • A high-performance guitar for an amazing low price
  • Lightweight and resonant poplar Dinky body conveys instant attitude
  • Dual Jackson custom humbuckers deliver hard-hitting high-gain tone
  • Compound-radius amaranth fingerboard feels great for rhythm and lead playing
  • 2-point tremolo tailpiece
  • Slender graphite-reinforced maple neck keeps your action fast

Cheep Jackson

This is a fun guitar the action is really light/easy to play. I was able to get it on sale for just over $ it is great for that price. The neck is very thin and wide and the guitar is quite light weight. This guitar is not ideal for clean tones, but better than I expected. Great for 80s style metal tones. :)

(The guitar was spray painted gold, it didn't come that ugly)

Amazing
This guitar has awesome playability. The electronics are solid, the hardware is quality, the neck is smooth, it's lightweight and sounds so great.
On top of all that Sweetwater has the best customer service. I'm so proud of this guitar. If I hadn't paid for it myself I wouldn't believe how low the price tag was.
I opened it up and saw quality soldering work.
This thing is amazing and I plan on buying another Jackson from sweetwater very soon.

Insane for the price
Bought this just to be my project guitar and it became one of my favorites for heavy/noise/shoegaze. I modded mine quite a bit just because I like modding, but this guitar is a steal by default.

Mods:
Seymour Duncan Invaders
Arcade Kill Switch
Coil Tap

Plays Well. Good Guitar Indeed
After installing a D'Addario locking strap I stretched the strings and took the Jackson JS22 thru the paces.
I was pleasantly surprised the neck felt so smooth. I conditioned the fretboard with linseed oil the next day.
A few days later I added my initials to the front of the guitar (a-la SRV) with ease and cleaned and polished the frets. Sweet. Later in the week I used Lemoil (from Australia) by Stuart Box to clean the neck.

While the strings settled in on my Blue JS22 I was playing my Goldtop Epiphone '56 reissue Les Paul for a few days. Last night I picked up my JS22 and had a blast putting it thru the paces again. It's great. It's giving the Goldtop a run for it's money. I'm considering upgrading to Jackson locking tuners. Everything about this guitar from the pickups to the neck to the paint to the setup make it fun to play. Love it.

Great Guitar
Made my family buy this for me for Father's Day:) Was not expecting much for the price, but what a surprise, awesome guitar - would highly recommend it. And as always SweetWater service was top notch, they verified it would arrive one time, which it did - and kept me informed along the way. Always wanted a more hard rock guitar to play 80's rock and this was it. Pairs perfectly with my Marshall tube amp which I also bought online with SweetWater!
