This is a great and simple pedal. I use it with a syn-2 rack system and a Fortin amplification Natas preamp pedal. As well as my new Ibanez 7 string acoustic guitar. It really is a great tool.

This little TC pedal is a quick and easy way to load, sample, store and carry your amp speaker IRs. It has simple controls, is solidly built and easy to navigate. It comes preloaded with a collection of IRs, but it's easy to add and load any of your own IRs using TC's free App. It's solidly built with high quality sonics, but it does require a mono line level input, not a speaker level input. It works great in my studio for silent direct recording.

I also found out that it worked surprisingly well in my amps effects loop, giving the amp a nice variety of tones through its own speaker. Check out some of the video demos online to see and hear it in use. I'm pretty impressed given its size, sound, features and price.

TC Electronics IR loader really has helped me enjoy my electric violin. It was very easy to set up and load some it's of Italian violins I found on line. Using the eq tweaks and adjusting some reverb on my amp, I even enjoy practicing again. Matt, was very helpful in my ordering, and had it sent out to me quickly. The candy pack from Sweetwater is always a plus. Thanks Sweetwater.

If you're looking for an IR loader pedal you've no doubt struggled to get a good guitar sound recorded. Few of us have the luxury of cranking our tube amps or SS amps loud enough, and using a microphone to capture the desired sounds. I've tried so many different ways to get a good guitar sound recorded but until recently have always struggled to come up with something that is more than just passable and can sound great solo'd. My Johnson J Station has its merits, as does my Pod Go Wireless, but they just weren't quite what I was after. The TC Impulse IR loaded pedal was the missing piece for me. Out of curiosity I decided to hook this pedal up to my Behringer TM300 pedal and the results are pretty dang good. It's amazing that for these two pedals I'm able to get some really good sounds recorded.

After modifying my PRS Guitar by installing Piezo Saddles and my own designed static tone circuit I needed a Pre-Amp.
I purchased the TC Electronic Impulse for two reasons.
1. To handle the pre-amp requirement.
2. I needed an acoustic IR for a more realistic acoustic guitar sound.
This device is perfect. Now my PRS Custom 24 has the ability to sound like an authentic acoustic guitar.
