Self-standing Tom Mounts Provide a Solid Foundation


Conventional three-legged tom stand bases offer a sturdy foundation, helping your toms stay in place beat after beat. Adjustable heights allow you to find a comfortable level for your drum.


While many tom stands share a similar tripod base, upper sections vary between different tom holder designs. Different configurations accommodate a variety of mounting scenarios, from securing a single tom or double toms to a tom/snare combo or other combinations. Additional mounting arms expand your options to incorporate cymbals, chimes, electronic pads, and other drum accessories.


Kick-mounted Tom Stands


Rather than adding a full tom stand to your existing kit, you may prefer to mount your toms directly to your kick. Both single and dual mount holders are available, making it easy to build a compact setup with fewer stands on the floor. Preserve Your Tom Tone with Suspension Mounts


Traditional mounting systems for toms may result in metal coming into direct contact with your drum. This contact can affect how the shell vibrates and, in some cases, influence the tom’s tone. If you want to minimize shell contact, consider a lug-mounted suspension (isolation) mount. This style typically attaches at the lugs rather than drilling into the shell, and it can help the drum ring more freely while keeping your existing hardware setup intact. Because there’s less direct shell contact, you may preserve more of your tom’s natural fullness and sustain.
