Are guitar stands safe for nitro finishes?
Some are, but not all. The key is to look for stands with finish-friendly padding. K&M’s translucent elastomer and Hercules’ Specially Formulated Foam (SFF), for example, are designed to reduce the risk of reacting with common finishes like nitrocellulose.
