My charango fits perfectly and securely. I had previously used one of those criss-crossy wooden folding things, and it was difficult to get the charango to stand up stably.

I bought this for my banjolele, which is quite a bit heavier than a standard uke or violin. This stand is very sturdy, easy to fold and unfold, and holds my banjolele securely. Another great buy from Sweetwater!

I bought this stand for my Enya Nova [flowered!] uke and it is perfect for my needs. Very sturdy. The rubber feet keep it from moving around and the rubber padding protects the uke. Highly recommended!

This is my favorite stand, it seems much more stable and sturdy than my others and even my baritone feels secure in it. The other seems light and flimsy in comparison.

IMHO best little stand for a mandolin that is affordable. Stable, great protective padding. Just don't use it as a football tee to kick your instrument, just kidding! Also, avoid setting it up in front of a door, that goes for any stand.

I had a surprisingly difficult time finding a ukulele stand that I really liked, until I found Sweetwater's website. I love the low profile of this stand, and the price combined with the reviews pushed me to take a chance on it. I'm so glad I did. It feels very sturdy and there aren't too many moving parts or pieces, so I'm not worried about it losing its integrity over time. It fits both our concert and soprano ukes nicely. Sweetwater has also been great - shipping was super speedy and they seem to genuinely care about their customer experience. Will definitely buy from Sweetwater again!

Just what the doctor ordered!! You have no idea how I struggled mentally in this area. For years, yes, years, I have had at least five (5) types of instrument stands and hated every last one of them. As usual, I bugged Jared about another piece of equipment and was given the green light on quality. I love getting advice from those who have been in the music game before me because they know what works and what doesn't. One thing I can honestly say is Sweetwater DOES NOT sell junk!!! Everything I have purchased has been nothing but the truth in equipment and this little stand has become a vital piece within my arsenal. I asked Jared to add another to my order and I am completely satisfied that I did. Jared, you're the man once again. I am grateful that I have you and Sweetwater there to help me with my musical decisions. Again, great stand, compact, and sturdy. Also, the price was absolutely right!

I went with this stand fro my smaller instruments because I have had good luck with the full size A-frame On-Stage brand guitar stands for my electric and acoustic guitars.

I am pleased to say that the GS5000 works perfectly with my Kanile'a Tenor Ukulele as well as with my concert size Lanika'i banjolele. The grippy foam padding on the stand grabs the instruments securely and holds them in place where you put them. The base of the stand is small enough to stay out of the way while still giving a very secure foundation for holding the instruments from falling over.

The stand does fold flat for storage and transportation, but it is too big to fit in a gig bag storage compartment like some other foldable stands. I may consider getting additional stands for traveling, but the GS5000 is absolutely perfect for my in home needs.

My left handed violin fits perfectly on this stand. The violin sits securely and because the stand is small, allows for placing the violin up and out of the way from unintended accidents.

The reason for 4.5 stars instead of 5 is I must keep the bow in the case as there is no place to store or hang the bow on the stand. However, I do recommend this stand for the violin.

Excellent product. Folds up and is carried easily in my music bag to performances or practices. The price and customer service was great at Sweetwater's, too.

I ordered the On-Stage GS5000 stand because I needed something to rest my ukulele on when it wasn't in it's case, while practicing for example. This little stand exceeded my exceptions. The stand works great, feels very study, and seems to be well made. I was so impressed that I ordered another stand for my son's ukulele the same day I received this first one.
