A must have for any guitar finish!
I can not say enough good things about this product. I bought it to remove smoke smell from a vintage Gibson. It was the only product I tried that succeeded and as a bonus it removed all the fine scratches while leaving the vintage vibe of the guitar in tact. I've since used it on several guitars with Nitro and Poly finishes as well as using it as the final step in drop fill super glue finish repairs. Will never "not have some" on hand from now on.
Music background: 35 yrs playing, modding, repairing and sometimes building guitars.

An amazing thing happened when I gave 2 coats of this polish on my 6 string GUILD Acoustic the other day; remarkably afterwards my guitar sounded BETTER for some reason but it did. I would gladly and confidently suggest this polish to other musicians to coat their acoustic instruments with this cream...
polishing semi gloss
i bought this to have around to restore dull gloss finishes on a couple of my guitars.
However, due to extreme boredom after a surgery. I thought , hmm my gibson g45 has a satin (dull) finish.Long story short, my g 45 now has a beautiful semi gloss look. the depth of the wood grain is simply astonishing. This is a great product. For whatever polishing you want to accomplish

Excellent product and price. However this is to be used at the final step of polishing out scratches. Start with a 600 sanding paper and then gradually move to 1500 and 2000. At this point all fine scratches and perhaps some medium ones have been removed but the finish is left with a haze. Now you use this product to restore the glaze with outstanding results. I would not use it on a guitar with a satin or a gloss black finish. In the first case you might get a spot where the guitar is more glossy than the rest. In the second case, you might be able to still see some very fine scratches.
Music background: blues guitar
fantastic stuff
I had some haze, small scratches, and dullness on a few places my on my black Les Paul.; this stuff polished them out almost gone and restored the gloss finish it had. Be aware this is a polishing compound and it is removing a thin layer of your gloss finish which is OK on most guitars. Do not get overtly abrasive w it.
