Ideal Strings for Fingerpickers

La Bella formulates their 710L Silk and Steel acoustic guitar strings from silver-plated copper wire which is hand-wound over a middle layer of Italian silk filament and an inner steel core. These 710L strings have light tension that gives them a soft touch fingerpickers will appreciate. And their tone is oh-so sweet.

La Bella's string expertise reaches back centuries

While La Bella strings are the top choice for world-famous musicians such as Willie Nelson, Bryan Adams, and Ron Carter, their heritage reaches way back - almost four centuries back, starting in Salle, Italy, in the seventeenth century with the Mari family. They were famous throughout Europe and even supplied violin strings to Amati and Stradivari. Brothers Emilio and Olinto Mari moved their string operation to New York in the early twentieth century, and the modern-day foundation for La Bella strings was born. Join the Sweetwater guitarists and bassists who rely on La Bella strings to deliver the tone, onstage and in the studio.

Nice Strings for 3/4 Size Guitar
I put these on my Cort Little CJ Blackwood, a 3/4 sized guitar. The first thing I noticed was how quickly it came into tune. These aren't stretchy which is nice. You can put these on an play in tune right away. The Little CJ isn't a loud guitar, but these brighten it up without sounding ringy like phosphor-bronze strings. (I like phosphor-bronze strings, but not for this guitar.) These are very clear sounding and incredibly even in output. The silverish-white color is nice too and looks great against the Cort's dark finish and fretboard.

12 strings
Been finger thumpin' 12's awhile currently an eastman. Occasional thumb pick. These I should have encountered sooner. Great skintone, thanks
Music background: guitars, tinnitus, tenor voice, loud keyboards, no favorites detest opera
Great Strings ...Sound & Feel .. but cost a lot.
I only play acoustic with silk & steel strings now at 75yrs with many hand operations. I like the way they feel & sound and the light gauge set is perfect for all the styles I play. They don't last as long as steel or as lound... once streched out they stay in tune pretty good. The cost has been going up ... I used to use D'Angelico s&s but they stopped making them so after trying many other brands I settled with LaBella.
Music background: playing over 65 years , teacher , recording , writer.
I love the feel of these strings!
Great strings. Love the feel to them.
Great strings
First let me say I have used different string brands. There is nothing better than La Bella!!! I have read silk and steel are only for finger style players. Wrong. These strings are good for all styles. You can really dig in when playing rhythm and sound great on lead. Great buy.
