Small but Mighty

From one of the oldest instrument manufacturers around, the Harmony Juno solidbody electric guitar delivers evocative tone, masterfully crafted lines, and big value all around. The Juno’s single-cutaway body style is unique yet classic, and the Juno stands out from the pack with a dynamic pair of custom gold-foil P-90 pickups with rich, evocative tonality. A hand-filling "C" neck profile with just-right 25-inch scale and a glassy, 12-inch-radius rosewood fretboard set a fantastic platform for a variety of playing styles. The vintage vibe is complete with a classic nitrocellulose lacquer finish, and Harmony’s iconic Custom Cupcake knob controls a lone master volume pot. And for gigging around town, the Harmony Juno includes an ultra-padded MONO Vertigo soft case with hands-free backpack straps.

American made from premium tonewoods

Mahogany and rosewood are a recipe for tonal perfection if there ever was one. The Harmony Juno’s single-cut mahogany body joins its rosewood-capped mahogany neck by way of a contoured 3-bolt heel. It all adds up to smooth hand feel and responsiveness with any tube amp in your collection. And just like another legacy American guitar brand, the Harmony Juno is handbuilt in Kalamazoo, Michigan, with the right touches of heirloom quality and modern precision.

Gold-foil P-90 pickups

Gold-foil pickups began popping up on student guitars from the likes of Harmony and Teisco in the 1950s and ’60s, then saw a brief resurgence in boutique instruments in the mid-2010s. And just like that, as quickly as they came, they were gone again. But the tone maestros at Harmony never forgot the touch response and retro good vibes these pickups were all about. That’s why the Harmony Juno comes stock with a custom-voiced set of gold-foil P-90 pickups. Alnico III magnets and Orange drop caps give these pickups a nice vintage-y warmth and roundness. If you’re looking for classic tone and touch dynamics, you’ll find it in the Juno.

The P-90 offers a unique tonal palette that is distinct from humbuckers and traditional single-coils. The P-90 can be heard on countless classic recordings. With its biting treble and high output, the P-90 cleans up nicely when you roll back your guitar’s volume pot. It’s an amazingly versatile pickup with its own brand of grit — a bit brighter, leaner, and less refined than a humbucker and almost as hot. Hit your amp hard, and the P-90 really wails. Plugged into a proper tube amp, you can elicit grind, sizzle, and bark that would be impossible with humbuckers — or with other single-coils, for that matter.

A proud new chapter in Harmony’s handcrafted American legacy

American-made Harmony guitars have been found in the hands of pro musicians and hobbyists since 1892. The Harmony Juno is a welcomed return to form for the American instrument company, combining old-world techniques with more than 125 years of technical know-how to bring today’s players a taste of its Kalamazoo heritage.
