Sweetwater's Famous GT11 Telecaster
Are you tired of searching for the perfect Tele? Perk up; your search is over! At least, that's what nearly every player who's picked up a Fender Custom Shop GT11 Telecaster has said. Some even said that the experience was akin to falling in love. It all starts with a lightweight, roasted alder body — the epitome of balanced tone. Its '60s-style Oval "C"-shaped roasted flame maple neck and 11-inch-radius fingerboard with narrow-tall frets ensure comfortable playability and lightning-fast finger action. No matter what you play, this GT11 Tele's hand-wound Nocaster single-coil bridge pickup will inject it with a jangly, smooth, sparkling character and a distinct twangy bite. You also get a Seymour Duncan SH-55 Seth Lover humbucker at the neck, arming you with all the exquisite PAF-style tone you can handle. Add in Fat '50s wiring, and you've got a premium guitar that can tackle any style of music. Fender's Heavy Relic treatment combined with Closet Classic hardware give this GT11 Telecaster a vintage, worn-in look and feel with meticulous performance.

One-of-a-kind playability
Some necks feel good, while others feel great. This GT11 Telecaster goes way beyond great; you'll feel an immediate personal connection to this guitar. This solidbody electric guitar's 11-inch-radius roasted flame maple fingerboard — a feature only available at Sweetwater — makes everything effortless. Play a chord by the nut or play a few licks at the 14th fret; it all feels the same: smooth and incredible. This GT11 Tele's roasted flamed maple neck features a '60s-style Oval "C" shape that fills your hand perfectly, no matter where you're playing. When we first got our hands on the GT11 here at Sweetwater, we were amazed at what a difference an 11-inch radius makes, especially for players with a preference for a radius flatter than a traditional Tele.
Tone-infused pickups
You're sure to cut through the mix, thanks to this Fender Custom Shop GT11 Telecaster's hand-wound Nocaster single-coil bridge pickup. These This pickup boasts a period-correct design and exhibits the tight low end and clear, balanced midrange you'd expect from a vintage '50s Tele. Plus, it twangs like it's nobody's business. At the neck, you'll find a Seymour Duncan SH-55 Seth Lover humbucker. Touted as one of the most faithful PAF re-creations around, the Seth Lover delivers a smooth, sweet tone that's guaranteed to put a smile on your face. The Fender Custom Shop wired this GT11 Tele with Fat '50s wiring, which loads the pickups slightly differently so you can roll off the volume without losing high frequency content, along with causing a cool interaction between the volume and tone controls based on their individual settings.
Eye-grabbing Heavy Relic finish
This GT11 Telecaster screams classic Fender. Its roasted alder body sports a Relic'd nitro finish, giving it the look of a vintage guitar that's been played lovingly for decades. Many guitar collectors like the Heavy Relic look, but even more players get these guitars because they feel so comfortable and broken-in. While the Heavy Relic look naturally calls for highly distressed hardware, many players prefer the smoother feel of Fender's Closet Classic hardware for a slightly aged, vintage look. This GT11 Tele looks and feels like a well-worn instrument that will be comfortable and familiar right off the bat.
