High-quality Cable with a Built-in Momentary Mute Switch

Guitarists, we're sure you're familiar with that nasty pop sound your amplifiers and speakers make when you unplug an active cable from you guitar. Not a good sound! But the D'Addario Circuit Breaker guitar cables put a built-in mute switch at your fingertips, letting you instantly, and silently, break the connection. Once the cable connection is broken, you can remove the cable and insert it into a different guitar without any sound through your rig. When you're ready to play, just press the D'Addario Circuit Breaker Cable's mute button, and you're ready to go.

D'Addario Circuit Breaker Guitar Cable Features:
  • Length: 30'
  • Straight connectors
  • Built-in momentary mute switch
  • Prevents pops and squeals when unplugging your guitar
Silently unplug with D'Addario Circuit Breaker guitar cables.

Reviews

Good cable
I like these cables because of the breaker. When you switch guitars no loud noise.
Great
This is a perfect cord for working musicians switching instruments without the need to turn down the volume.
Has worked flawlessly for yearsand cant imagine gigging without it.
Cool Cord
If you like or need to change guitars when playing, this is probably for you. I was using a high quality cord which provided great tone and there was no drop off when switching to this cord. The on/off switch is right on the connector and it makes no noise when switched on or off. What can ya say? Great cord.

Connection
I ordered two of these cables. One for my wife who plays guitar and mandolin, and one for myself (I play acoustic and electric guitar). I ordered these cables so we could switch between instruments without having to mess with the mixer. The cables and sound are nice, and the circuit breaker works well, but my wife was having a problem with the plug loosing connection with her mandolin, and I was having a problem with the plug loosing connection where I plug it into my effects processor (VL3X). These cables may work well for practicing, where your not moving around much, but I need something that will hold in place while on stage. I'm returning these and ordering the more expensive American Stage Kill Switch model.
