I just upgraded my Digidesign Digi001 or Digi002 drivers to be ASIO drivers in Windows XP, but now my Digidesign MIDI ports have disappeared. What happened?
As of Jan 2003, the Digidesign Digi001 and Digi002 ASIO drivers do not support the MIDI port. Functionality will only remain from within Pro Tools if the ASIO drivers are installed. If you return to the Wavedrivers, the MIDI port will once again be usable outside of Pro Tools.
