Great Solution
This thing is amazing. Not only does it power the five pedals i typically use, but there is plenty more power that I'm not using and the adjustable positioning of the plugs means that there are very few wires to work around. You can see in these pictures how clean this rig is and I walked out onto a stage with the board powered on, set it on the floor and was ready to go. I didn't have to worry about noisy power plugs or tripping on extra cables. It's great!
Clean, portable pedal power. Batteries drain quickly after a certain threshold.
I have just started out on my pedal journey, but I knew right away that I wanted a portable battery powered solution to facilitate quick and easy setup and teardown if I ever take it on a gig. So far I only have 3 pedals and will maybe expand to 5 or 6. I chose the D'Addario XPND board to accommodate more pedals later on, and the XPND battery kit for portable power. The battery power kit was a bit on the pricey side, but Sweetwater had a deal where they would throw in a free extra battery so I pulled the trigger.

The unique daisy chain adjustable plug system allows for customized cable routing and thus minimal spaghetti and a very clean look. With my current three pedals I am getting very good battery life per charge. I really wanted to see how many hours I can get from 100% to 0%, but it appears there might be some kind of glitch with the batteries that prevent me from doing so.

I used the first battery for several sessions until it went down to the 20% range and I stepped away to take a break. During my break I heard a 'thump' sound and when I returned to play some more the pedals were all dark and the thump must have been the pedal power turning off while the speakers were on. I wasn't gone for more than 30 minutes, so the battery at 20% should have definitely been enough for that. I hooked up the second battery which again lasted for several practice sessions. At around the 40% level I stepped away to sit on the throne and heard the 'thump' and came back to find the pedals were out again. So it appears the batteries reach a certain percentage of power and then just unexpectedly go straight to zero which could be problematic, especially on gigs. I will keep trying both batteries to see if this glitch continues, but so far I am unable to determine how many actual hours I can get on one full charge.

Other than the battery glitch, the D'Addario XPND pedal power system has been great. The custom adjustability of the cables and sleek look of the batteries provide a clean appearance. Portability and quick setup and tear down is excellent. I am hoping the sudden battery depletion issue goes away so I can give this product 5 stars. But we'll see as I give each battery unit their second go around.
Convenient and functional, but not without some drawbacks
This unit works well. It is an expensive way to go, but it can allow you to operate a pedalboard in circumstances that might otherwise be problematic. I live on the road, and have limited space and inconveniently located electrical outlets. It has not given any operational problems. And has functioned as advertised. I have no complaints about the viability of the unit.

The only drawbacks are that battery life is slightly limited. My pedalboard is medium size, but has a few power hungry pedals. I could probably run maybe 6 or 7 hours on full blast before I need to recharge, which is fine, but not spectacular, and, the battery is slightly finicky about how it likes to charge. It does not take well to the faster chargers I have, and seems to prefer the lower voltage ones to charge up more gradually. Also, even then, it will often not charge completely, only getting to 95% or so, then, it wants to be taken off the power for a few minutes, and plugged back in, after which it will achieve 100% charge.
If you only run a few pedals, this thing would probably power your board for a much longer time. Maybe 15 hours or more.
If this unit looks like a good solution for your needs and applications, and the price doesn't bother you. I would say buy it. It provides enough juice to run just about any pedal out there. It even works fine with my Boss RC-500, which theoretically demands a proprietary power supply. No issues.
I'll unclude a pic of my board to give you a point of comparison so you can gauge how your results might compare to mine.
Music background: Puke rock and total crap
Excellent Product
Super pleased with my purchase
Thank you,

I'm liking this kit a lot
I have a Pedaltrain Nano pedal board, and this kit works great. The battery fits neatly between the pedal board rails and is not too heavy. You just have to position it so you can see the battery gauge in between two of the pedals. There is small power button on the side of the battery so you need to leave a little space so you can reach in with your finger to turn it on. I haven't fully tested the battery life but I used it for an eight hour session and there was a lot of charge left.

The power plug daisy chain is pretty cool. It allows you to adjust the amount of wire needed between connectors so you can get a very tidy set-up. Even though the plug cap makes a small cut in the wire insulation to allow contact, the cut will "self heal" if you need to make changes. I tried that and it works well.

I now have a very tidy, battery powered pedal board which is great for gigging but also nice for jams where getting to an outlet can be an issue.

Some nice product design here and I'm loving it.
