An Intuitive Wireless System with Stellar Sound

Cutting the cord doesn't have to be a hassle, especially if you have an Ibanez WS1 in your arsenal. This guitar wireless system employs a 2.4GHz broadcast signal to equip you with crystal-clear, 24-bit/44.1kHz sound; super-low latency of less than 5ms; and the lowest noise floor in its class. An operating range of 100 feet gives you plenty of room to move, and a 4-hour battery prepares you for marathon-length performances. You also get selectable simulated cable tone to maintain consistency between your wireless and plugged-in tones. Guitarists here at Sweetwater appreciate the WS1's automatic paring — it makes setup a walk in the park. If you're tired of tripping over guitar cables, the Ibanez WS1 will make your life much, much easier.

Reviews

Here's My Follow-Up (2nd) Review
I have been using these now since August 2024
They continue to work really great - I have zero complaints
I have used them in several different guitars, with a variety of pedals, and amps - zero problems.
Look at the photo - the first review I gave showed a photo where I marked on these items with a paint pen - that was not the optimal way to identify where the charging plugs go and which unit is transfer or receive - the photo attached shows how I cut up a Sweetwater sticker (sorry Sweetwater) and it works great, no problems. The "t" indicates the transmitter unit and the "r" indicates the receiver. The rest is probably obvious - hope so.

Love This System & Here's Why
This is my first wireless guitar system and I couldn't be more satisfied with it
There are many of these to choose from and you can buy some that are less expensive and some that are more expensive
I chose these because of the Ibanez brand name and I knew that Sweetwater backs up what they sell so, I ordered the pair
---------------------------
Ease of setup: 5 stars
Ease of use: 5 stars
Duration: 4 1/2 stars
Quality of sound: 5 stars
Range: 5 stars
---------------------------
As you can see in the photo, I used a paint pen (with fine tip) to mark which one is the receiver and which is the transmitter. Also, the image shows dots where the charging plugs connect to the Tx/Rx - those dots make it easy to see when the light is low and you need to see what you're doing.
---------------------------
Sure, I'd like the batteries to last forever (ha) but about 3 1/2 to 4 hours is fine with me. I keep the charging cable on my practice amp (that's what my Rx is plugged into). I really like the lights on while the batteries are charging and the lights turn off when the batteries are fully charged.
---------------------------
I totally love walking around the studio, the garage, outside - wherever I'm playing - and not having a cable is an incredibly joyful experience - I only wish I'd begun using these things sooner!
Thank you!
Efficient & Effective Wireless Solution!
The Ibanez WS1 brings easy wireless to any instrument that outputs to a 1/4" jack (guitar, bass, mono synth, etc). One of the differences between this unit and some other wireless is the ability to work on active pickups without an adapter. I tested this out on one of my active bass guitars and it worked perfectly. On my various electrics, I enjoy how the jack can rotate to properly fit or sit flat on the guitar. The connection between the transmitter and receiver happens quickly. The transmitter's power button activates the "cable sim" mode where it makes the wireless sound more "cable like." I'm not sure if it does anything, but I have that turned on any time I use it because an Ibanez engineer thought that was a good idea. The kit comes with a two-headed USB cable that allows you to charge the transmitter and receiver with one outlet. There's a handy pouch that is big enough for the units but not the cable. I managed to complete a 3-hr practice without running out of charge. The range took me about 80 feet before I started to notice latency and brief cutouts. At my home studio, I'm able to have the receiver connected to my board and an amp and sit at my desk in another room behind three closed doors and it works!

No strings on me!
As Pinocchio said, "I've got no strings on me!" These work for me and sound great! (to my ears, anyway)
I perform in pre-schools and have always been leery about running cords to the speaker. This year I spent some money and am now cord free!
Used in conjunction with the Xvive U3D Dual XLR Plug-on Wireless System (for the mic) and have had no issues with frequency crossover. Everything plugs into the battery powered Bose S1 Pro.
Very Happy!
Very pleased
Just for reference, I play bass. Used at a show Sunday and sound was killer, no latency I could detect. Had them turned on around 4 + hours, used for three different short sets spaced out with other performers in between so wasn't using continuously to play but no problem with battery life. I'm new to the wireless thing but definitely loving not tripping over my cable, I'm usually a super klutz and I'm liking the freedom.
