Wicked Warrior Style at a Steal

With its sharp looks and even sharper tone, Jackson's X Series Warrior WRX24M electric guitar is a welcome fit in any shredder's arsenal. Its solid poplar body lays a balanced tonal foundation for a pair of Jackson-designed high-output pickups, perfect for hot and heavy genres demanding searing licks in complete clarity. Wrap your hands around the smooth and snappy maple neck, and you'll quickly discover the benefits of this instrument's neck-through construction — Sweetwater's furious fretters commonly cite neck-through guitars as a must-have when needing unencumbered access to the highest frets for solos, sweep-picked passages, and more. A 12–16-inch compound radius maple fingerboard ensures comfortable fretting in all positions, with striking black sharkfin inlays adding a nice visual bite. Expressive playing is a cinch with a Floyd Rose tremolo on hand, facilitating everything from subtle warbles to insane squeals and everything in between. Conjure metallic mayhem in style with the Jackson X Series Warrior WRX24M!

Screaming Jackson humbuckers take you to high-gain heaven

To match the Warrior WRX24M's wild aesthetic, Jackson loaded this 6-string with a pair of their in-house designed high-output humbuckers. These pickups are anything but your standard stock electronics, dishing out waves of amp-pummeling aggression with hot and heavy humbucking tone and tight low-end response. A standard 3-way switch makes it easy to swap between the bridge and neck humbuckers, a must-have when going from tremolo-picked passages to melodic solos in a flash. No matter the flavor of metal you're feeling, unleashing beastly tone is a breeze with Jackson's high-output humbuckers.

Floyd Rose: the shredder's-choice tremolo since '76

Steve Vai. Neal Schon. The late Edward Van Halen. Guitar heroes like these and many more credit the Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo as a core component of their trademark sound. The Warrior WRX24M comes stock with a Floyd Rose Special tremolo, the secret weapon behind those deep-sea dives, chirping crickets, and plenty of other tasteful sonic treats. Best of all, you can go wild with the Floyd Rose's whammy bar without worry of ever going out of tune, with the double-locking system keeping things nice and tight at the nut as well as the bridge.

Jackson X Series Warrior WRX24M Electric Guitar Features:

  • Wallet-friendly Warrior complete with aggressive looks and sound to match
  • Balanced poplar body lays a rock-solid tonal foundation
  • Neck-through maple neck lets you access the highest frets with ease
  • 12–16-inch compound radius fingerboard feels comfortable in any position
  • Pair of Jackson high-output humbuckers deliver screaming tones fit for any flavor of metal
  • Squeal and dive all night long in perfect pitch courtesy of the Floyd Rose Special locking tremolo

Reviews

The Jackson to slay all other Jackson’s
The Warrior has been on my list for a long time. I bought this in October for my birthday and I haven't put it down since. I absolutely love it. The neck is comfortable and fast. The shape of the guitar is what blew me away! Not only does it look amazing but it is so perfectly balanced. Sitting down in classical position makes the guitar at a perfect angle with the thought cut out and the large upper wing. When standing it is exactly where you need it. There are a few things I don't like however. The top strap button I immediately moved to the back of the guitar, no idea why is is where it is out of the box. The manufacturer pickups are decent but I will change them eventually, although that was to be expected, Jackson had to cut cost somewhere and pick up changes are common. The last is the volume placement. I'm a couple hours I was able to move the volume and the toggle switch. (See Dave Davidson's Signature Warrior) I will have this guitar for a long time. Absolutely beautiful piece of equipment and it plays way better than I hoped.

Sweetwater's service is amazing. Fast shipping, the inspection was awesome, I did tweak the string height but other than that it was in tune out of the box! Alan Bauer was my sales rep and he did an awesome job answering my questions and helping me through the process. I will 100% be buying my gear through them from now on and if anyone needs a recommendation I'll be the first to tell them about this company.
Built for exactly what u think with some suprises
Absolute metal axe did need some fine adjustments with the Floyd. Jackson high output pickups play heavy rock/metal really well but also clean up even better on clean channels! (Suprise factor lol) did have a finish flaw but all was worked out with Sweetwater overall I would absolutely recommend this axe.
Music background: Heavy rock/metal/rock n roll
Jackson WRX24M
I'd have given this 5 stars but one fret was a little lower than all next to it, choking the note. I've done lots of work on guitars so it wasn't a huge deal; but if someone didn't know what was going on or how to fix it - that'd suck.

Steven Dibbz was great as usual, recommend him for sales.
Sweet guitar at the price point just shy of being perfect though. Surprised by the Jackson humbuckers-decent.
fantastic value metal guitar
For it's price this guitar is 5 stars. As others noted the ergonomics of this instrument are incredible.
I play with a strap even when seated so the position of the instrument is consistent for sitting and standing and it is great. This is the first guitar where I am able to hit the 24th fret on the 6th string.

Frets, neck and body are top notch. I am seriously impressed.

The pickups are budget sounding. That was expected, and I got a set of EMG Bonebreakers on the way.
The only real negative about this guitar is the pickup selector switch - it has a good amount of play in it and feels flimsy.

The other potential area of upgrade is the Floyd Rose installed on it. Honestly, it doesn't feel bad at all and it holds tune after some serious dive bombs, so for now I will not be upgrading the bridge to Floyd Rose OG or Floyd Rose 1000. But if I start to run into tuning stability issues that will be the other upgrade.
Unexpectedly incredible
I own more than a dozen high end guitars. This WRX24M is one of the cheapest guitars in my collection but it plays on par with many of my $ instruments. I own the Dave Davidson WR7 and this guitar feels like an identical 6-string version. QC was on point, I can't find a single flaw anywhere on my guitar despite having bought it used. The Jackson high output pickups were surprisingly solid as well, but I did end up swapping them for Seymour Duncan Pegasus (Bridge)/Sentient (Neck) and that modification made a huge difference (Sorry Glenn Fricker but it's true!). This guitar is a steal at this price point, great job Jackson Guitars! That being said, below are a list of problems:

Few problems:
I did not buy this from Sweetwater so it didn't undergo their inspection. If you're buying with Sweetwater they would probably catch this kind of thing.

(1) The wiring job was a mess on the inside. In fact, there was a short somewhere that occasionally caused most of the sound on the bridge pickup to disappear.
(2) The cavities for the spring system and wiring area were poorly cut out. The plastic inserts barely fit and bend inside the hole.
(3) The paint on the inside along with the holes that were drilled are really sloppy, but it's on the inside so it's not a big deal.
(4) The Jackson stock tuners are stiff and unresponsive. I'll be replacing them next. I think this may just be true of all Jackson tuners because this is also a problem on my Mick Thomson and Dave Davidson models.

I don't think any of these problems should deter you from buying this guitar, these are minor for the quality that you are receiving.
