A New Contender from the sE V Series

sE Electronics made waves last year with its V7 stage microphone. From the same family comes the more affordable sE Electronics V3 microphone for voice and instruments. The V3 shares the V7's all-metal design to survive the rigors of the road, roll-preventing bevel, and internal shockmount and windscreen to keep stage noise to a minimum. But unique to the sE Electronics V3 are its open-sounding dynamic polar pattern — better suited to guitar cabs, for instance — specialized copper voice coil, and finely tuned frequency response to accurately capture any source onstage including lead and backing vocals, guitars, drums, horns, and more.

Integrated shockmount and internal windscreen ensure top-notch onstage performance

When you take the stage with the sE Electronics V3, you don't have to worry about handling noise. An integrated shockmount decouples the V3's capsule, effectively eliminating rumble and other distracting sounds. An internal windscreen reduces unwanted wind noise and plosives. Both red and black windscreens are included, so you can choose whichever one suits your personal style.

Not a fan of the red screen? The sE V3 also includes a black screen for traditionalists.

Heavy-duty metal construction and beveled spring steel grille

Built from durable zinc alloy, the road-ready sE Electronics V3 can withstand serious punishment. Its spring steel mesh grille is dent- and corrosion-resistant. And courtesy of the grille's beveled edge, this microphone won't roll around when you set it down. Rest assured, you'll be using the V3 for years to come, thanks to its high-quality components, including a gold-plated XLR connector.

sE Electronics V3 Features:

  • Cardioid pickup pattern reproduces stage vocals and instruments naturally
  • Suits lead vocals, guitar cabs, horns, drums, and choirs
  • Specialized copper voice coil with neodymium magnet
  • All-metal design (no plastic parts) for prolonged life on the road
  • Beveled grille keeps the mic from rolling around when you set it down
  • Integrated shockmount eliminates rumble and handling noise
  • Internal windscreen prevents wind noise and plosives from ruining your performance
  • Both red and black windscreens are included to suit your style
  • Gold-plated XLR connector resists corrosion
  • 50Hz–16kHz frequency range
  • Includes a mic clip, thread adapter, and carry pouch

Amazing !!!
Help us to talk clear and loud with our athletes!!!
Really Good Mic for the $$$
We bought this as a Talk Back mic for me to use as MD/Worship Director from the platform. It was recommended by our sales engineer Dan Robinson. It's quiet, clear and has great build quality. I've actually sang through the FOH with it a few times and it actually holds it's own against the mighty Shure SM-58. Dan was right! Highly recommend!

Amazing
These are amazing and have brought our game to a whole new level.
Love this Mic!
I've been consistently using Sure SM58 and 78s since the late 90s as they are considered the industry standard (and for good reason). However I just wanted to switch things up a bit and try something new. A well respected sound man, who I get the pleasure of working with a couple times a year, referred me to them and I absolutely love it. They have all the clarity of the SM58s but they project a bit better, and yet they are less expensive. After I bought one for my vocals, I immediately bought a second one for my steel drum. My only regret was that I didn't just buy the 3 pack instead of buying them individually.
Music background: Professional multi instrumentalist
I needed a mic with a shock mount
Due to lockdowns, I've been out of work off and on. I needed a mic with an internal shock mount (I play keyboards. Vigorously.) I previously owned an Se ribbon mic, and am happy with the quality, so I gave it a shot. Works great, and at a great price!
Music background: Self engineered, self produced artist, keyboard player

What Do Our In-house Gear Experts Think?
Evan Mehre
As a singer and live sound engineer, I've been on both sides of every dynamic mic there is, and this is one of only two that I keep around. It has the high-mid presence of other very common dynamics, but it's a little smoother about it; perfect to pull my darker voice forward on a loud stage. Low handling noise is also a strong suit of the V3. Those two factors have made it a go-to for me.
