The Fishman Fluence Modern active pickups in the V-1 SLS Evil Twin are a favorite among players in heavy genres, including those here at Sweetwater. The Fluence Modern Ceramic provides you with the choice of two unique, selectable voices via the push-pull on the master vlume. The first voice is reminiscent of a modern active pickup — tight bass, crisp highs, and a touch of growl. The second voice is a high-output humbucker tone made for distortion, designed to growl. The Fluence Modern Alnico humbucking pickup’s first voice is reminiscent of a modern active pickup — boosted mids and great articulation and dynamics. The second voice is an exclusive Fluence sound with a clean, crisp, and fluid tone.
Neck designed for play!
The maple/walnut/padauk neck on the V-1 SLS Evil Twin is cut to an ultra-thin “C” profile with a satin finish for smooth handling and hours of comfortable playing. The ebony fingerboard features 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets that make chords and leads easy on the fingers. And with the ultra-access cutaway, you can effortlessly reach those extra-high notes when you need them.
