Reviews

Free at last!
I have never used a wireless system for fear of loss of sound quality as well as expense. This system is cheap , easy to use as charging your phone and most importantly sounds like a million bucks. I have only had this product for a short period of time so can't speak for its durability but I love not being plugged in. There are no down sides to this product as of this review.

Very nice playing without a guitar cable. I can't notice any difference from when using my guitar cable. Thanks again to an Outstanding Sales Engineer in Ethan Kattau.
More Freedom
It changes everything.More freedom during jam time.I played an hour and half session and a 2 hour session no problems with battery life.Love it
Wish I had bought these sooner
These are GREAT!!!! What a difference it makes. No cables to drag around and get stepped on. They work flawlessly!!!! Well worth the investment!!!!
Simply works
I'm an "office" player... My gear never leaves the house, but the room I play in has at least one computer with 2 monitors on all of the time.

I was hesitant to go wireless because I fully expected the transmitter to introduce additional hum. I was wrong. As far as I can tell these units are just as clear as any cable that I have used in the past.

What's really nice is not tripping over the cable. Also, since there's no longer a cable involved the room looks "less messy" by my wife. Just the guitar and the small amp.

I have also tested hooking up the transmitter to the output of my Headrush Gigboard, sending the signal to my amp. In this case I was mostly looking to take advantage of some of the many effects that the modeler offers. That too worked perfectly. Of course, I used a cable from the guitar to the gigboard. But the gig board sent the signal to the amp as expected. Now I can have the gigboard on the opposite side of the room without running a cable across the room to the amp.

I saved a few bucks by going with the GOLD units. I have no regrets. You can barely see the receiver on the amp and the transmitter on the guitar folds under it and is barely visisble. If you have a guitar where the jack is on the guitar top (ES-335, Strats, etc.) then the color might be more of an issue. I also have an Epiphone ES-335 clone (in black) and the gold transmitter doesn't matter to me at all.

I thought I might have to monkey around with the channels to find the one with the least interference with other devices in the house (too many to list)... but Channel #1 works fine.

I also thought there might have been a bit of latency. I know there's some but it is so small I can not notice it at all, even when playing with backing tracks.

For this price there is little reason not to "unplug" and go wireless.
