Precision engineering for premiere playback
No matter your preference, the Turn X from Sweetwater has you covered. It's capable of 33, 45, and 78 rpm playback; plus, its quartz-controlled, high-torque motor means expedient startups with virtually imperceptible variance at just ± 0.03%. Thoughtful design includes a universal SME connector, making quick, painless work of cartridge changes, though an Orotofon 2M Blue cartridge is pre-installed, ready to deliver high-resolution sound with excellent dynamic range. A sturdy, solid MDF chassis is complemented by its height-adjustable, shock-insulating isolator feet, eliminating unwanted and disruptive resonances during playback. Finally, gold plating was used in the phono output and ground connector to ensure optimal signal preservation with increased corrosion resistance.

The Turn X's precisely machined die-cast platter comes in at 2.1 kilograms, measuring 332 millimeters in diameter and 22.5 millimeters thick, supported by a solid aluminum block for even, uninterrupted rotation. An additional rubber coating works to provide additional isolation for the sunk-in design. Its static-balanced S-shaped tonearm includes an adjustable weight and anti-skating system, while the vertical tracking angle (VTA) can be modified to affect the azimuth of the cartridge, letting you dial in the perfect playback system. Built-in switching power contributes to its ultra-low noise isolation. Its streamlined form factor includes an intuitive, 1-knob design, with the speed selector doubling as a start/stop button for a turntable that looks as elegant as it sounds.
