Passive DI Optimized for AV
A passive DI intended for use with your laptop and other devices, the Radial Trim-Two is one of the most flexible direct boxes we've seen at Sweetwater. From its convenient 1/4", RCA, and mini-TRS inputs to its ready-access volume control, the Trim-Two is a must-have for AV presenters, DJs, and keyboard players. The inputs are wired in parallel, letting you split the signal to feed your monitors or another destination. Under the hood, a pair of beefy Eclipse transformers isolate and balance the signal, delivering linear frequency response and handling up to +15dB, giving your -10dB consumer-level devices plentiful headroom.

The Radial Trim-Two rocks a front-panel stereo level control, which makes it easy to adjust your volume in any setup. The stereo-to-mono switch is equally handy, letting you effortlessly collapse a stereo signal or route a balanced signal to two targets simultaneously. The Trim-Two's transformers supply galvanically isolate source and destination, and also eliminate buzz and hum due to ground loops. You also have a ground-lift switch at the unit's XLR outputs. The Trim-Two couldn't be easier to use: simply connect your source and the male XLR outputs to your PA system. The Trim-Two is a passive device, so there's no need to futz with batteries or power supplies.
Built Radial toughIn typical Radial fashion, the Trim-Two is built tour tough from 14-gauge steel that shields against external magnetic fields and rocks Radial's trademarked bookend design that creates a safety zone around the controls and connectors. The Trim-Two's rugged I-Beam construction creates rigidity that protects the internally mounted circuit board from torquing, which could result in cold solder joints.
