Angled, Secure Djembe Stand

Upright djembe stands fill a need for live use, but they're often uncomfortable for traditional players. That's why Sweetwater percussionists reach for stands like the Meinl Percussion Professional Djembe Stand. It more faithfully reproduces the angle of a seated playing position, while at the same time allowing the drum to vibrate freely for rich bass, vibrant tones, and sharp slaps. Two padded hooks slip into the foot of your djembe to make sure it doesn't slip off the stand, and a nylon strap supports the upper base for secure playing. Angle and height adjustments provide a comfortable playing experience for most players. And double-braced legs mean the Meinl Professional Djembe Stand is up for the most uncivilized playing conditions.

Meinl Percussion Professional Djembe Stand Features:

  • Supports your djembe at an angle for a familiar playing experience
  • Lifts your djembe off the ground for better resonance
  • Perfect for stage use
  • Nylon strap keeps your djembe from wandering
  • Padded hooks keep your djembe from sliding down
  • Adjustable height (with memory lock) and angle
  • Stout double-braced legs stand up to abuse

Meinl djembe stand
The previous review is absolutely Wrong!!
The Meinl djembe stand holds the drum
Perfectly in a tilted position for playing while seated!
It also allows the bowl section to vibrate Freely!!
Meinl Djembe Stand
Holds the drum very well, but advertising should emphasize the drum cannot be played in traditional position (tilted away), while sitting. Since none of the photos of the stand actually have a drum in place, I wasn't able to judge that accurately.
