The Centerpiece of Your Video Village
A next-generation monitor/recorder/switcher with a bright 19-inch 4K HDR DCI-P3 display, the Atomos Sumo Pro-19 is perfect for video village deployment on set. Lightweight and portable, the Sumo Pro-19 is large enough for the whole crew to gather around and see everything that’s happening in the frame, so everyone can evaluate the shot. Equally important, the monitor’s 1,200-nit brightness, color accuracy, and calibration capabilities allow the director, DP, and others to trust what they see when making crucial production decisions. With its professional video and audio inputs and support for 8K30 RAW recording to fast compact media, the Sumo Pro-19 also functions as a secure backup recorder and review station that lets you quickly generate dailies. Equipped with built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity and camera-to-cloud support, the Atomos Sumo Pro-19 makes a powerful centerpiece for your video village.
Make critical decisions with confidence
As a first assistant camera (1st AC) monitor, the Sumo Pro-19 provides the focus puller with a large, bright HD image and industry-standard focus-assist tools, ensuring that, whether you’re tracking a moving subject or catching a subtle, fleeting expression, you nail the critical moments in your story. The Sumo Pro-19 lets you simultaneously monitor all inputs, switch between feeds, control key camera functions, record multicamera workflows, and more, while giving you access to exposure, framing, and other monitoring tools via its configurable front-panel buttons and touchscreen menus.
An ideal post-production studio monitor
Here in Sweetwater’s video studios, we’ve found that the Atomos Sumo Pro-19’s lightweight chassis and integrated carrying handle make it easy to move it from set to post-production suite. And thanks to its uncompromising accuracy, what you see on set is what you’ll see in post. As a studio monitor, the Sumo Pro-19’s HDR capabilities, support for industry-standard codecs, 10-stop dynamic range, 10-bit color processing, and compatibility with Calibrite Display Pro and Display Plus calibration software ensure that your color-corrected imagery will translate down the post-production pipeline.
