When you want to drop into double-kick pedal mode on your bass drums but don't want that sloshy hi-hat reaction, the TAMA Sizzle Touch drop clutch is a must-have. This intelligently designed, easy-to-use clutch lets you instantly close your hats by tapping the clutch lever with your stick and pushing down on your hi-hat pedal to securely close the cymbals. Switching back to single-pedal play is just as easy: just press down on the hi-hat pedal until the clutch clicks back into standard "clutch" mode. The Sizzle Touch also lets players adjust the gap between the bottom and top cymbals while they are in "dropped" mode — get that tight "chick" or a wide-open thrash or a more subtle "sizzle"! I love it! I can set it to any level of splashyness I want and it stays there until I change it: from fully open to a slightly loose chick. Tama is still the Strongest Name in Drums" & hardware that I've found. That why I always buy Tama.

It works great and glad I got this.

This quick clutch rocks big time. It's extremely easy to dial-in.I have it set for short decayed sizzle when I drop it for double bass parts.It does away with any need for a secondary Hat. A really nice addition to my tool set!

No one makes hardware as well as Tama. Clutch works great. Still working on getting solid hits to drop the clutch but that's me acquiring some skill, not Tama's design. Highest recommendation!
