This quick clutch rocks big time. It's extremely easy to dial-in.I have it set for short decayed sizzle when I drop it for double bass parts.It does away with any need for a secondary Hat. A really nice addition to my tool set!

No one makes hardware as well as Tama. Clutch works great. Still working on getting solid hits to drop the clutch but that's me acquiring some skill, not Tama's design. Highest recommendation!

This is a true TAMA product and I like it. Smooth action and does exactly what I need it to do.

I got this because I like the regular Tama quick-release clutch, and I am starting to learn and use a double pedal. I like that I can adjust the cymbal splashiness when the clutch is in the dropped position.

I am surprised that I can only have the cymbals spaced so far apart in the locked position before the space is too far in the dropped position (making the cymbals too washy). I am used to a single pedal and having my hats spaced wider than many players. I like big hi-hat scoops.

That said, I am a complete beginner with double bass, and I am not qualified to mark this product down.

Not a whole lot to say other than it's amazing to be able to dial in the perfect amount of sizzle on your hats while playing double kick.

I have had the opportunity to use the TAMA Sizzle Drop Clutch for a few months now. This is one of the better inventions to playing the Hi-Hat that i have personally used . Play your hats open , foot chick , foot down tight or trip the release lever and get that " Sloshy " sound , while playing double pedals ( set perfectly open or close together by the adjustment wheels ) .Try it you wont be disappointed ! The only reason I will not give a 100% to any product is the plastic pieces will wear.

Ability to finely adjust the distance of the drop is super convenient, and sounds great. The product itself was a great upgrade from my beginner Ludwig kit hi-hat clutch.

I love it! I can set it to any level of splashyness I want and it stays there until I change it: from fully open to a slightly loose chick. Tama is still the Strongest Name in Drums" & hardware that I've found. That why I always buy Tama.

Back in the day, before drop clutches, we used to just lock the top hat at sizzle height. It worked but ultimately we kept locking it back and forth for different things. Clutches then eliminated the fiddling but it wasn't much better to be honest. This thing changes everything. Don't even waste your money on a non-adjustable clutch, get this one. It's useful for single bass as well. Everyone should have one.

I use this clutch all the time now, even when I don't use a double pedal, my high hats just sound better with this clutch. This thing is far superior to any other drop clutch I've ever used, it's a little complicated, but it's worth it once you figure out how to adjust it.

I love this clutch. Very solid. The mechanism is much more dependable and adjustable than others I've used.

Bought this put on my hi hat works great gonna get another one to go with my other kit.

I had been waiting for Tama to bring this out for quite some time. As an occasional double bass drum pedal user, having my hi-hats set at a crunch level as to not kill said cymbals was always the trade off I had to make instead of having the option to open and close them. I play sizzle riffs on my hi-hats on a lot of songs as well, so this was the perfect addition to add.
