Reviews

Ibanez Standard SR300EB

I absolutely LOVE this bass. From the shape, to the finish, to the amazing tone range…it's got it all. It feels and sounds like a $ bass for only half the price. Ibanez continues to absolutely amaze me with their instruments in any price range, for any skill level. I'm confident this instrument will impress both beginners and pros, it's that good. Highly highly recommend, if it's in your cart or wish list: GET IT!!!

Great Bass!
This is a great bass and not only for the price. It plays and sounds great! Ibanez continues to make amazing basses at all price points.
Absolute Workhorse of a Bass (Long Term Review)
I've owned this bass for around 3 years now. And I have to say this thing is crazy for the price. The 3 band EQ is amazing the switching has so many different tones and can ether make sure you stay in the mix or stand out. The action is nice and low. No fret buzz. I've used this thing in everything from jazz to metal to worship and it excels at it all. If you're on the edge about getting this bass, it is a must have.

Epic bang for buck
This is, in my view, the best bass at this price range, especially for those needing tonal flexibility. This played great right out of the box, and with a bit of tweaking I was able to set it up exactly to my liking. The electronics punch way above the price, and I was particularly pleased with how useful the eq is. If you need a solid bass with good versatility on a budget, I think this is the one.

everything is almost perfect
I have had this bass for a couple months and it is very nice, it is by far my favorite 4 string bass (As a 6 string bass player, check out my reviews of the Ibanez gsr206 the best beginner 6 string bass). For the price, you are getting even more then what you paid for with much more tone customization then any other 4 string bass I have played in the $ price range.

I have found nothing wrong with this bass besides the body being the most fragile thing ever because of the natural wood, but I think it looks cool (because i have not broke a chunk off of it yet).

I have put into another $ into the bass (New strings and a Hipshot extender) and that made it my favorite 4 string I will probably ever have.
