Add an Electronic Pad to Any Drum Kit

Whether you're rocking a full Roland V-Drum kit or looking for a cool way to add drum samples to your acoustic set, the Roland SPD-One Electro pad makes it easy. This drop-in sampler pad plays just like any high-end Roland drum pad, but it includes an onboard sample player you can customize to fit your needs. The sound engine is remarkably easy to customize, plus the SPD-One Electro comes with all the hardware you need.

Killer sounds you can tweak to perfection

The SPD-One Electro drum pad comes loaded with a library of 22 classic 808 and 909 percussion sounds, so it's a blast to play, right out of the box. Want to use your own sounds? No problem! Just connect it to your computer via USB and drop in the WAV files you want to play. Once you've loaded up the samples you want to play, there are several onboard options that let you further customize your SPD-One Electro's sound. For starters, you can tune your samples up or down to get them to fit in with the rest of your kit or to create cool special effects. Speaking of effects, built-in reverb and delay are also great ways to make the most of your drum sounds.

Integrates into any drum or percussion rig

Whether you play with your hands, sticks, mallets, or some other method, your Roland SPD-One Electro drum pad is happy to oblige. In addition to setting the volume and effects, the sensitivity is totally adjustable. As for mounting, the included hardware lets you attach it to tom stands, cymbal stands, or even mic stands. Finally, there's no need to bother with extra cables (unless you feel like picking up an optional power supply), since the SPD-One Electro drum pad runs efficiently on four AA batteries.

SPD-One: a new direction in virtual drums

Twenty years after launching the original V-Drum line, Roland is still at it, revolutionizing the world of virtual drums in exciting and creative new ways. The SPD-One combines the standalone modular approach of the traditional SPD series that drummers at Sweetwater already love in a format that lets you build the exact kit you have in mind. Want to add an electronic snare or tom? No problem. Replace your kick with a pad? Piece of cake. Build a full kit or just add the pieces you want; it's all up to you with Roland's SPD-One series.

Roland SPD-One Electro Drum Pad Features:

Killer Product
Great way to add Roland quality sounds to your mix. Flexible triggering applications (stick/foot/hand), controls for threshold and sensitivity are very functional, and the featured tuning/FX knobs are just what are needed to send this product from a 4.5/5 to 5/5.

Great Product !!!!!
I really am enjoying this new product. It fits my stage needs exactly !!
Very Nice
Not a percussion guy (mandolin family) but needed (as one does) the occasional cowbell, and that it could be played with my foot was a bonus. Fit the bill perfectly. It sounds good, is easy to use and has created more options for me to consider that look suspiciously like a slippery slope.
Music background: somewhat professional
These are a lot of fun and sound great...
I was curious to get one of these to see how they sounded and to see if I could use a couple of them to sort of have a high quality electronic drum set going on in my apartment that took little to no space. I bought this one first because it has the most snare sounds. Since I like it I will buy the yellow kick one next. I will need to use a small mixer at that point so that I can play them together either through headphones or speakers. I have tried all of them and they all sound great. I may get a third, the white one, and use it for the cymbal sounds, etc. The sounds on these are really good and the pad feels like a high quality practice pad with the added bonus that it makes great sounds to boot.
Love it...
I bought one of these to reply my dead SPD-S Sampling pad. I love it for its 808 patches.

My only issue is that it IS ..."trigger sensitive"....I had it attached to hi hat stand and was playing a tambourine which was also attached. It kept triggering the SPD:ONE Everytime tambourine was struck. So, it must be on its own stand.

Great purchase. Recommended.

Simply put, modern electronic music wouldn't exist without Roland. Many of the electronic musicians here at Sweetwater cut our teeth on TR Rhythm machines and fondly remember programming our first TB-303s. We owe a good part of our careers to this amazing and innovative company. It's been fun to watch and grow right alongside Roland, as they've introduced wave after wave of revolutionary keyboards, digital pianos, and more. For example, Roland's V-Drum Kits continuously redefine the possibilities of electronic drums, beginning with SuperNATURAL technology to the latest Prismatic Sound Modeling. We're huge fans, and we'd love to tell you all about them. Whether you want a pocket-sized synth or a cutting-edge video mixer, if Roland makes it, then Sweetwater is 100% behind it.
