The Jackson Chris Broderick Soloist 7 electric guitar was co-developed by the Act of Defiance (former Megadeth) guitarist and Mike Shannon (Jackson Custom Shop's legendary luthier) to create a unique Soloist with maximum tonal tenacity. Chris Broderick designed this signature seven-string Soloist with an offset archtop mahogany body topped with a quilt maple top and completed it with a quartersawn maple neck for the ultimate in strength and tone. Even the custom DiMarzio humbucking pickups were designed with Chris Broderick's input.

A unique Soloist
Even if you know Jackson's Soloist series, you haven't experienced the Chris Broderick Soloist. Everything about this model is unique. Custom pickups
Not only is the Jackson Chris Broderick Soloist unique, it packs a pair of unique pickups custom-designed by Chris Broderick and DiMarzio. Broderick needs a pickup that maintains a tight low-end for jackhammer riffs while imparting his single-note solos with enough mass and warmth to make them really sing. And there is plenty of output onboard the custom DiMarzios to punish the front of any amplifier. These humbuckers are built for high-gain, low-noise, and uncompromising tone.
