Reviews

quarter pounder
I was looking for a Jazz Bridge PU for my PJ that could keep up with my G&L MFD SB1 PU. I picked The SD 1/4 Pound Jazz for the output & reviews. Yup it keeps right up. First Off. I never had the weak Jazz bridge PU problem. Yes due to location of the PU their at a disadvantage. I have always been able to adjust any j PU for a good presence BUT this PU is very strong! The tone go's from real dark to very bright. Both PUs on full the Jazz is very strong in the balance. I have read that the SD Ultra Jazz is another option. I love the G&l. But would change that before the SD. Very pleased and surprised by the SD quarter Pounder !

Excellent pick up!
Seymour Duncan does not disappoint! Great bridge pick up for my Jackson kelly base JB1! Much clearer and much more punch than the original Duncan designed pick up that it came with. Extremely happy with the way that they sound now!
SJB-3 Pickup
I put this on my Fender Aerodyne Jazz bass along with the Seymour Duncan P bass pickups.
It's a quantum leap forward in terms of power and tone, the bridge pickup in particular. Highly recommend this upgrade to all Aerodyne players.
Music background: Active gigging musician in several genres
Quarter pound bridge pickup
These pickups super charged my classic vibe Jazz bass. These have nice rich Jazz Bass tone with a shot of juice!
Seymour Duncan Bass Pick Ups Rock
Great pick ups! Seymour Duncan SJB-3's REALLY did put some edge & bite to my American Std Jazz bass- while still keeping the dynamics that the Jazz bass offers. I play Classic & Hard Rock music, finger and pick player. Ordering both the neck & bridge pick up on a Thursday & they arrived promptly on Saturday, with free shipping. Great job Sweetwater! This is my second set of Seymour Duncan pick ups, on my American Std Precision Bass- I have the SPB4 Steve Harris pick ups. You cannot go wrong with Seymour Duncan bass pick ups at all. Rock on..
