Once I figured out how to assemble the shelf, the rest was pretty easy, but an included assembly guide would bring my review up to five stars. Other than that, the shelf feels solid enough, the rollers and slides work well, and there's just the right amount of room for two keyboards and mice so they're accessed easily, even while I'm drumming.

Work amazing!

I purchased this sliding rack shelf to go with my Gator tour track I setup in my home studio. The shelf is solid and made well. I have no issues with the quality or the function.

However, for first time installers/noobies like myself, I could have used an instruction sheet. I ended up wasting a lot of time over engineering the installation for this shelf so it would fit properly in my rack case. The screws on the rails that need to be loosen so you can adjust the length for deeper rack cases was a little bit of a pain to work with.

Other then that, this shelf was exactly what I needed. I have an older VHS tape deck I didn't want to alter by putting track brackets on, so this shelf was perfect to put that on.

My only complaint is that the holes in the shelf are too small to be usable. I thought I could pass patch cables from below to save space and keep the shelf neater. Not even to dc power cables fit

This is just what I needed for my mixer. I now have it in my rack and it has helped to make setting up a snap.
