Rocker Tone Anywhere You Play

With crystal cleans, fat gain, and fuzzy drive, the Orange Rocker 15 gives you big amp sound without big amp size. The two-channel design features Natural for transparent, clean tones and Dirty for vintage-inspired gain, making it easy to dial in the perfect tone for your genre and gear. With onboard power scaling that retains your tone at any volume, a 3-band EQ, a tube-driven effects loop, and a 10-inch Orange Voice of the World Gold Label, the Rocker 15 thrives in any space. From your bedroom to the stage and everywhere in between, the Rocker 15 creates the freedom to explore every sound your guitar has to offer.

Two channels of tonal exploration

The Rocker 15 amp combo features two classic amp channels: Natural and Dirty. Armed with both, you have the tonal control to move effortlessly between styles and genres — from smooth cleans to garage rock and gritty blues. Fine-tune your tone even further with the 3-band EQ and master volume, allowing you to achieve the perfect balance for every song.

Space and volume

Let's face it, you don't just buy an amp to play live — you need time to craft your sound. With the Rocker 15’s onboard power scaling, you receive an array of wattage options suitable for any space. Drop all the way down to 0.5 watts and enjoy the same tube-driven force at bedroom levels. Crank it to 15 watts and push your sound at full tilt. Whatever the space demands, there’s a wattage setting to match, taming volume without sacrificing tone.

Tube-driven — including the effects loop

Nothing sounds quite like a tube amp, which is why many Sweetwater guitarists have a Rocker 15 as the centerpiece of their rigs. The classic combination of a three 12AX7 preamp section and dual EL84 power amp section delivers that mid-forward British aggression that made Orange a household name. However, tubes do more than shape tone here. Powered by a 12AT7, the onboard, buffered effects loop has been tuned to produce a clearer, more organic, and more versatile sound.

Orange Rocker 15 Features:

  • 2-ch, 15W, high-gain electric guitar combo amplifier
  • Natural and Dirty channels for crisp cleans and grungy crunch
  • 3 x 12AX7 preamp and 2 x EL84 power sections deliver classic British punch
  • Selectable 15W/7W/1W/0.5W power scaling for massive tone at any volume
  • Buffered 12AT7 tube-driven FX loop creates cleaner signals and stronger FX
  • 1 x 10" Orange Voice of the World Gold Label speaker provides a balanced tone

Reviews

Orange you glad you found this amp?
Like everything from Orange this amp is just amazing. No, it doesn't have reverb. That would be nice, but we all have pedal boards, don't we? I put a boost pedal in front and a Keeley reverb/delay pedal in the effects loop. Sounds so great! Wonderful cleans. Plenty of gain on the dirt channel, depending on what you are playing. The attenuation features are great. Not a lot of noticeable difference from full to half power. This amp can get really loud, especially with a boost or drive pedal in front. Yes, the clean channel is just one volume knob. I use eq on the boost, though it would be fine without it. As far as previous tube amps, I have had Fenders, Blackstar, Supro, and Vox. This is by far my favorite. Light weight. Loud. Versatile. No regrets with this purchase. I also own an Orange Super Crush 100 Combo. Also a great amp.
Impressive
A very versatile and uniquely orange tone amp, worth its weight it gold. I have a few nice amps (ac15 60th ann, supro black magic, marshall sv20c, fender 65 princeton reverb) and this rocker 15 is by far the most impressive for the price, quality and versatility. I found a genuine love for orange amps after buying my rocker 15 and being very impressed, i then recently got my tremlord 30, and would love to grab a rockerverb 50 neo one day. If you want to give orange a try go with the rocker 15 for any clean-distorted style of music. Also orange amp grilles are actually firm and protect the speaker as opposed to every other amp i own with soft mesh grilles.
Great amp for home and small events
I'm a mediocre musician, my gear is much better than I am.
We have a jam night a couple of times a month for crappy errr aspiring musicians.
People bring all kinds of amps and instruments.
This little guy has great tone and keeps up with everyone else's gear for these practice sessions.
Keys, drums, other amps, this amp hangs with the rest.
I keep thinking it's 25 or 30 watts. I even run it at half power at times.
True, no one is bringing big stacks or high powered amps.
Still it will hold its own with a room full of other musicians.
The clean channel has a real nice tone and you can crank up the dirt if you want.
I use an Orange getaway Driver for extra dirt or as a boost.
We play everything from amazing grace to Black Sabbath.
This amp covers the whole spectrum.
As always Sweetwater delivers good service great deals.
Music background: Not very good, playing on and off for 50 years
Awesome guitar amp
I love this purchase. The dirty channel is as greasy as it gets. The clean channel is sweet. It's quite loud actually, even on 0.5. But it maintains the over drive articulation and integrity even on lowest wattage setting. Full on its loud enough to play any club. Engineering and workmanship is outstanding.
Great amp
This little amp has great sound. The headroom/bedroom switch is amazing. Well worth the $$

What Do Our In-house Gear Experts Think?
Patrick Ortiz
I have been playing guitar and gigging for over 15 years, so a reliable and high-quality amplifier is a necessity. As a jazz player who likes some crunch once in a while, the Rocker 15 continues to exceed my expectations. The clean channel allows all of my pedals to shine the way they were intended and the dirty switch provides a great natural and classic tube overdriven punch. From jazz and rock shows to solo and big band situations, the Rocker 15 can really do it all and has become a welcomed addition to my arsenal!
