Capture the Session-proven Sound of a Nashville Legend

Engineered to excel in fast-paced session environments and accommodate the sonic needs of Nashville’s ever-shifting musical landscape, the Wampler ReWired Brent Mason signature overdrive and distortion pedal is the dictionary definition of a do-it-all dirtbox. It’s the cornerstone of Brent’s studio sound, refining Brian Wampler’s long-standing line of Brent Mason–signature stompboxes with a host of tonal and utility enhancements. This pedal’s dual-channel design delivers an exceptionally broad range of dirty tones to explore, from dynamic amp-like overdrive to searing plexi-style panache on the Distortion channel. Each channel sports a dedicated Fat knob to thicken up your sound, along with per-channel Level, Gain, and Tone controls — you even get a handy Blend knob on the Overdrive channel to inject your dry tone back into your driven signal for shimmering clarity. And no matter whether you’re an overdrive-into-distortion guitarist or vice versa, the ReWired’s Order control allows you to swap the arrangement of the pedal’s two channels with the flip of a switch. Finished off with per-channel inputs and outputs that are sure to please any guitarist running a loop switcher, the Wampler ReWired’s ultra-versatile design and outstanding tones were forged in the world’s most demanding studio environments by a true 6-string legend.

Take on any session with two independent channels

Each side of the ReWired has been precisely twisted and tweaked to meet Brent Mason’s exacting tonal needs in Nashville studio session environments. It’s a fast-paced setting where versatility and efficiency are key. Thus, the ReWired is engineered to run the gamut of gain tones, combining a lively overdrive section with a high-power distortion section.

Overdrive channel: When it comes time to lay down the rhythm, this is Brent’s preferred section. From a hint of grit to fiery chicken pickin’ finesse to crispy crunch tones, the ReWired’s overdrive section tackles any low-to-medium gain application with ease.

Distortion channel: In comparison, ReWired’s distortion section screams with dense saturation and rich harmonics, making it Brent’s first pick for high-octane lead work. Moreover, the Distortion channel also captures the fat, full, and thoroughly plexiglass-style punch of an all-time classic British tube amplifier.

Fatten up your sound and blend in your clean signal

Whether you need to enhance the sound of a small speaker cab or fill out the low end of a lower-output single-coil pickup, ReWired’s Fat circuit has you covered. This powerful control dials up the low frequencies in your signal for a fuller and more authoritative wallop, and each channel features its own Fat knob for precision tone sculpting. What’s more, ReWired’s Overdrive channel also features Brent’s signature Blend control to fine-tune the signal’s drive to your taste.

Versatile I/O section

Do you prefer overdrive into distortion or distortion into overdrive? The Wampler ReWired’s Order switch shatters this long-standing stompbox conundrum by allowing you to choose the order of the two effects, all without the trouble of switching around cables. What’s more, the ReWired’s versatile set of connections allows you to set the pedal up as a standard dirtbox (mono in, mono out) or connect each channel independently — the latter feature being a favorite of Sweetwater guitarists running complex loop switchers, as it allows you to independently rig up each of the pedal’s two halves. Finally, the ReWired also provides you with the power to connect an additional pedal between the Overdrive and Distortion sections.

Perfect for your tele
If your own a telecaster, you need this pedal. Fattens your tone where you need and give you that extra push to make your guitar stick out in the mix.
Super Pedal!! If you own a Tele, You have to own this one!!!!
I have spent at least 100 hours with this wildly versatile pedal ! It is so much fun!! The flip of a switch takes you from OD into Distortion and the same takes you back to Distortion into OD !! With the addition of an effects loop , it takes over the moon!! I would love to hear from Brent what gear he has tried out through the effects loop! This is way more Pedal than I expected for the money !! Buy one from Nate Burkehart and you won't be sorry!! I live in Alaska and Sweetwater Sound always get my purchase here fast !!

Lovin' This Pedal
There's a video with Wampler and Brent Mason that gives a really clear sonic description of what this pedal is all about. Better than I could try to put in words.
I can say I love it like I've loved no other pedal, at least this month, and it's got a permanent spot on my pedal board.
I've also run a variety of guitars, pickups etc through it and it always sounds great. The overdrive is just an overdrive, not too heavy but enough to push your sound a bit and the distortion is moderate, but warm. Both thicken up with the FAT knob and the Blend knob on the overdrive side is very useful.
Thanks to Sweetwater and Greg.

Great
I wasn't expecting much because of how many disappointing pedals I've acquired over the years, but every so often hit on a payday. The Wampler Re Wired was a payday, I mean it is doing everything and more that I had hoped for. The OD side is a hit, a big hit in my opinion...use the blend or not. Gain and blend off and it sweetens your tone immediately. Gain up and blend off it is a superior sounding OD. Wind up the blend for any number of sweet spots. Play a tele or single coil guitar?...wind up the FAT knob.

Presently I have the OD side gain and blend off and can therefore kick in the distortion side without overkill...just the right amount of singing drive. Pedal off and back to my great 6L6 Fender cleans. I'm using a booster pedal after for a little bit more when needed.

A win for Brent and Brian. Get one you won't be disappointed!
