Where have these been all of my life?

I love these things. I am working on setting them up on every single mic stand and microphone I have. So far, they've given me absolutely no trouble, I've used them on stands with overheads hanging way above the kit and mics hanging every direction imaginable without any failures. They do what they're supposed to and they do it well. Not sure why there are other negative reviews, but I've had these for a few years and it's only been a huge blessing to have.

Great if you don't move the stand!

These are great mic stand releases if you are going to just put the mic on them and not touch them, they are solidly built and look good, but if you are playing live or moving the mic stand around, these wobble in themselves causing a rattling noise that will translate to the mics audio signal. I haven't tried any of the other brands, but i would say that for just a couple of dollars more they may be a better option!

DO NOT BUY. These need to be pulled off the shelves

I was very excited to get these. I bought 2 5 packs. I was going to systematically replace the onstage/proline quick releases I've been using for years. Well I've had these for about 4 months now and every single one of them has broken. I'm not touring. This is under normal circumstances in a studio. I know how to properly set-up, adjust and tear down stands. There is a pretty big design flaw in these. The little slip lock is made of very hard and brittle plastic. And it only has one flattened point for locking, meaning all the stress is put on one area. The plastic cracks in the same spot every time. I suppose they made it like this to cut costs. These could've been perfect. I rarely give negative reviews. But I cannot recommend these to ANYONE. Please DO NO BUY!
