This Is Your Guitar on Paisley

In the design of the Wampler Paisley Drive pedal, Brad Paisley - one picky tone-aholic - worked with pedal guru Brian Wampler to meet his tall set of requirements. The Paisley Drive starts off clean but serves up beefy crunch when you lean into it. It puts a bit of hair on your tone and deploys flat-out gain mayhem when you need it, delivering beautifully fluid tone when you're soloing. If you want satisfying, responsive overdrive that sounds like a tube amp while letting the true character of your guitar come through, then you'll adore the Wampler Paisley Drive.

Wampler Paisley Drive Overdrive Pedal Features at a Glance:
  • As used by Brad Paisley live and in the studio
  • Can be very transparent or have a warm midrange bump with no loss of bottom end
  • Cleans up beautifully with pick attack and volume control
  • True bypass circuitry
  • High-grade film capacitors and resistors that were picked for their superior sound and response
  • Battery connection and 9-volt power jack (barrel plug, adapter optional)
Get responsive, natural-sounding overdrive with the Wampler Paisley Drive!

Reviews

Impressive pedal
You'll plug in this pedal in your basement and think to yourself "No way, this is way too distorted." But, on a gig, I have not found a better pedal for smoothing out and adding a singing quality to your leads, while maintaining a clear note at the center of the distortion. When I hear recordings of the live gig, I always think "That's what I want it to sound like." You can't beat that.

Paisley Perfection
My recipe for Paisley Perfection = Telecaster plugged into the Paisley drive into a 57 Fender Champ!!! Buy one of these pedals now, you won't regret it.
Wampler Paisley Drive Overdrive Pedal
Got the paisley drive overdrive pedal 3 years ago and still to this day have to say it is the best sounding , versatile OD pedal on the market today! This pedal sound's great in your in amp's clean channel or can be used In a overdrive channel to add more saturation and low end if you need it! Ya'll know what I mean Texas SRV type blues or Nashville county clean channel - British and American rock OD channel. I play a James Burton Signature Telecaster and a gold topped 72 reissue Les Paul Deluxe through a Soldano lucky 13 combo and with my set- up have found using both toggle switches in the down position with the volume of the pedal on about 6 the gain on 4 and the tone about half , the EQ blend into the amp is perfect! If you don't own this pedal you owe it to yourself to get one!

Paisley Overdrive
If you like the sound of your amp, this pedal is for you. It ads the Dbs without adding color to your sound so you can be heard while soloing without sound compromise. True OD!

Great Pedal!
I bought this pedal because I want a little bit of grit, but not too much. The Paisley Drive gives you some edge, but still keeps your articulation and playing discernible. This is not a pedal for heavy metal shredders, but for the guitarist playing a wide range of genres and who needs some tamed distortion. I have this paired with a Wampler Ego compressor and it makes for a very clean, tight, low noise tone.
Check out the multiple video on YouTube. Good luck!

What Do Our In-house Gear Experts Think?
Charlie Davis
This is probably the only overdrive that has stayed on my pedalboard for a full year's time, and is the only thing on my board that never has to worry about being replaced. It is easily one of the most responsive and versatile overdrive pedals to ever be released. Also don't let the name fool you. The Wampler Paisley Drive can nail Brad's dirty sounds, but there is a reason it's being seen on pedalboards around the world in every genre of music.
Mike Winebrenner
The only bad thing about the Wampler Paisley Drive is that my guitar doesn't sound nearly as good without it! I've been amazed by the tones I am able to achieve with it! This is the kind of pedal that makes you want to keep picking up the guitar!
