High-style, High-performance Digital Piano from Casio

The Casio PX-S7000 digital piano delivers an unbeatable combination of high style and high performance. With its elegant wood-grained stand and triple-pedal unit, the PX-S7000 presents sleek, modern visuals that look great in your living room. But the PX-S7000 is also a powerful stage piano and master controller for your studio. Powered by Casio’s state-of-the-art Multi Dimensional Morphing AiR sound engine technology, the PX-S7000 delivers the stunningly lifelike tones of world-class grand pianos, electric pianos, drums, and other acoustic and electric instruments. And with 400 premium sounds and advanced audio/MIDI recording onboard, you’ll never run out of inspiration!

Your musical creativity: sparked

With 400 onboard sounds to explore, the Casio PX-S7000 is sure to spark your musical creativity, but there’s so much more to this amazing digital piano. Use the pitchbend wheel to play various types of instruments with authentic expression. The PX-S7000 features three versions of the incomparable Privia Grand piano, complete with a cutting-edge acoustic simulator for realistic string, open string, aliquot, and damper resonance; as well as key action and damper noise. Plug in a mic and lay down a vocal track. Put the finishing touch on your masterpiece with studio-grade effects that include reverb and hall simulation, chorus, brilliance, and more. Use the audio and MIDI recorders to capture your ideas and save them to a USB thumb drive or internal flash memory. With 256-note polyphony, the PX-S7000 flawlessly plays back even the most complex compositions.

Smart Hybrid Hammer Action keyboard

The PX-S7000 features Casio’s 88-note Smart Hybrid Hammer Action keyboard. Through Casio’s meticulous engineering, the keybed provides authentic piano feel and response that conveys every nuance of your performances. Equipped with hybrid wood and plastic composite keys, this high-tech scaled hammer action provides the weighting and resistance of a grand piano without the periodic tuning and maintenance that acoustic pianos do. What’s more, the touch response of the PX-S7000’s action is adjustable to optimize it for your personal playing style. We play a lot of pianos here at Sweetwater, and we’ve rarely found a piano-playing experience this rewarding!

A superb piano for any space

The Casio PX-S7000 adds a sophisticated touch to any room in your home, while its compact, lightweight chassis makes it easy to transport for live gigs, rehearsals, and studio sessions. But unlike most stage pianos, the PX-S7000 has its own built-in 4-channel, 4-speaker Spatial Sound System that fills the room with glorious, ultra-realistic renditions of any and all acoustic and electric instruments you’re ever likely to need. And of course, there are two headphone jacks for quiet practice and duets. The crisp, backlit LCD display and streamlined top-panel controls always keep you in command. The PX-S7000’s USB port is class-compliant, and will connect to any Mac or PC with no drivers required. It’s also Bluetooth equipped for wireless MIDI and audio connectivity with your favorite music apps on your smart phone or tablet. It all adds up to a masterful digital piano that will serve you well at home, on the road, in the studio — or when your busking in the park, as the PX-S7000 is equally happy running on either AC or eight AA batteries!

Reviews

Casio PX-S7000
What a great Piano! If it has 88 keys, it's a piano and not a Keyboard ( that's what I'm told).
Look's great in appearance, assembly of stand with piano was easy and fun. And most importantly, it sounds GREAT! Many different sounds and tones to choose. The stand is super sturdy and solid. I based my purchase choice from other reviews (Youtube, Other on-line reviews). I wish I had this piano 60 years ago when I took lessons for 10 years. Still have my 75 year old Janssen console piano which plays well when it holds tune. Overall, I'm happy with purchase.
Music background: Took piano lessons for 10 years as kid.
Perfect piano in a house constantly changing with growing kids
This is truly a beautiful and quality-feeling piece. Solid. My kids begged me to start piano lessons so I had to get this before having a space ready and before they lost interest. It will be tucked in the hallway for a few months with no easy access to an outlet. No problem because it uses a plug OR AA batteries! The hall sits above the entry to the house, so the volume really resonates and I don't have the same volume concerns others mentioned. The kids love all the sounds and the cool way to bend notes. A piano player ended up at our house for a party and played the piano for a spontaneous 1-hr sing-along-session. She approved. When I have to move this I will just separate the keyboard from the stand and move it to its new spot. The piano is solid, but it's also quite movable. Simple. It is versatile enough to be put almost anywhere in your home—and you won't have to hire anyone to move it. In fact, I may just leave it in the hall! I couldn't be happier.
Everything I Wanted
I know it's expensive, but it still surpassed my expectations. Used as a midi and even for routing sound to Ableton. Sounds are great, the feels are great. Everything is customizable and has user presets. I don't mind the menu navigation at all and lack of buttons for touch screen. Sleek design, matches my room.
Casio monster
I've never written a review before, but I saw that no one had review this yet and felt the inclination to do so. There's so much to unpack, but I'll just go over a few misconceptions. This thing is a monster. There's so many reviews on YouTube and other sites that don't really do it justice because people aren't aware of all the features. I see alot of complaints about the key weight, but most people don't know that it's adjustable through the app. 5 levels of weight resistance. I go with heavy because I'm a classically trained pianist. I've also heard complaints about the sound, but people don't realize that each individual sound can be heavily modified to make a unique powerful sound. It's honestly overwhelming how much you can change each sound, and you can save it the way that you like. Casio has a 30 minute tutorial that goes over the basics. But, there's still much more to discover the more time you spend with this instrument! As far as the look, it's probably the prettiest piano on the market right now. I got it in black, looks like something from the future. Super light and portable, and can also run on battery power, which is crazy. You do need to spend some time getting used to all of the features, which is easier said than done because there is alot. Gigging, home, and studio piano. Great buy, especially if you want to be different and have a new unique sound and new look. Sweetwater always goes above and beyond with delivery and packaging. William Mitchell is the best!

Jo-
speakers small cant drive an external speaker
There is not enough voltage out of any of the jacks to drive the aux inputs on my external amplified speakers. My older PX-310 drives them nicely. The bluetooth will not connect to an external speaker only to another CASIO device. The only choise you have is the small tinny internal speakers.

Many of the keyboardists here at Sweetwater have fond memories of Casio that go all the way back to when we first started playing, and that's often kept us coming back for decades. Today, we're happy to point players to Casio keyboards, no matter how long they've been playing - even if they've never played at all. In fact, we've set up many beginners with Casio LK series Lighted-key models, and they've regularly raved about how easy these keyboards make learning. Likewise, several of the solo performers at Sweetwater swear by their fully loaded Privia and other advanced lines, which provide top-notch accompaniment and more. And if you stop by the Sweetwater Piano Showroom, we'll be happy to show you the latest Casio home piano - all providing amazing value and style.
