I got an old Fender Acoustic that was given to me years ago and had no strap button on the back of the neck. It's in really great shape and I don't want to drill any holes in it to fit a strap button. I've been tying straps to the head and been blessed to only have one come undone in the middle of a session. I was very lucky to have caught it before it could hit the floor. This strap is great. I don't have to untie it to put it away. The clasp is solid and I'm able to put it in the case with the headstock. For the money I don't think you can get any better.
