Great
Great describes the product I purchased and my experience shopping with Sweetwater. Thank you Sweetwater for the good communication that always felt like a special personal touch to it.
Now, about the product. They added the look I was wanting for my Taylor 327 acoustic guitar. I never expected the bonus, and honestly, I don't know how changing these pins made my guitar sound significantly better. Is it like buying a new pair of tennis shoes you just run fast? Truth is, I had a string buzz/dead-note thing going on before I put these on and now I don't. The guitar seems to even have a fuller resonance in the room now. I don't know, maybe it's all just voodoo magic.
Wow!
Have a taylor with plastic bridge pins. Bought it for its aesthetic but after installing them, I think they may have improved the acoustic tone of my guitar, idk I did also set up my guitar at the same time so... At the very least they look great and fit snug.
I have a new guitar
My guitar sounds completely different after I changed the bridge pins to these almost as if I got a new guitar. My old ones were stock and pretty terrible from normal wear.these fit snug and amazing.
Perfect
Purchased this set of pins to replace the plastic ones that came in the Yamaha AC3R i have. They fit like they were meant for my guitar.matches the bridge and fingerboard ebony and pearl inlay.cant say if it made the AC3R sound and better or different but it still sounds great so im happy.
Completes the Look of my Taylor
One thing I have always hated about the lower end Taylor models is that, while they are quality instruments, they come with very cheap, bad looking plastic bridge pins. These Ebony pins by Planet Waves match my Taylor's bridge 100% and the Pearl Inlays I opted for add character to the otherwise plain bridge of the guitar. Very cheap upgrade that I would 110% do again with Sweetwater, as their service is second to none!
