Reviews

works great
I had left a bad review , be aware the unit comes with a a scratch protector on the screen that looks just like the image on the tuner and it's not real obvious that its not the actual screen because it lights up. Removed the protector and it works great. My bad.
Love it
I love the previous model, which uses disposable button batteries, but this is a great improvement. I haven't yet determined how long a charge will actually last. The rechargeable feature will prevent the problem of the display getting dimmer and dimmer, until I decide it is time to put in a new battery. And I love not buying and wasting batteries. While the device is the same size as the predecessor, the note name and tuning indicators are much larger and bright. I do wish there was a a brightness control, as in my practice room I could use a lower setting and conserve battery life. I use this not only for tuning in a noisy environment, but also when working on intonation in higher positions.

Fast Accurate Easy Rechargeable!
This is the best Violin tuner I've used. It's fast, accurate and finally rechargable...no more swapping coin cells!

It's fast enough that tremolo is detected near real-time and because of the clip position it can be used as a practice tool for intonation. Of course use your ears, but this helped me figure out when a particular finger or position was just a bit off. The trick is to just make a mental note and keep playing, correct your finger position the next time.

The one improvement I would make is to move the button position to somewhere solid, or add .... and I almost cringe to say... a touch control to activate it, just so that it doesn't move positions while turning it on. It's tricky because the clamp and tilt mechanisms are also great. Anyway it's not a big deal...this is still the best Violin tuner ever.
Accurate tuner with bright, easy-to-read display
I love this convenient little rechargeable tuner. I leave it on my fiddle. It's incredibly easy to use, accurate, and the display is brighter and more vivid than the coin battery-powered one. Works for hours without needing to recharge.

Half the lights on the display dont light up. My $ clip on guitar tuner works better than this.
