Headstock tuners notoriously don't work well on bass instruments, but this is quite an exception! Eclipse tuners have no trouble at all tracking on my 5-string bass, not even on the low B. Out of dozens of headstock tuners I've tried out, the only other one that did the job as well was the TC Electric Polytune, which costs over 3 times as much. I love the double-swivel design, too! There are no angles at which I can't clip this thing on!
