These cables are better than higher priced models

I have used many types of guitar cables ,Fulltone,Fender,ProCo etc. These are superior and the Neutrik connectors are the main reason, they are flat out the best and are really unique. The have a different tip that fits better in guitar and amp jacks, not tighter just somehow this lovely smooth "click" like the tumblers on a safe. The stay put better, dislodge less frequently yet pull out smoothly with that same lovely click. Absolutely a bargain like all Planet Waves products.

Lightweight, sturdy, reliable

I love this cable! It's very lightweight - I don't feel any "drag". I get totally clear tone, and it's built well - sturdy. This is my #1 cable!

Amazing Cable!!

I was skeptical about spending the money on this cable but i have too say it is the best cable ive ever used!! Ive been playing for about 4 years, yes i know not long but i have played several shows and i know good cables or equipment when i see an hear it. This cable lets the true sound come out and its crystal clear i would buy another but im not going too because the construction and quality is top of the line!

Guitar cords by Planet Waves

Seem like good, strong cords. Sound great and I think the gold tips help make a better connection with the amp.

Sweetwater Advice

Mitch Gallagher

Think that the guitar cables you use don't affect your sound? Think again! There can be significant interaction between your guitar's passive electronics (pickups, volume and tone controls) and the cable you use to connect to your amp or effects. With a less-than-stellar cable, you may lose high end, you might lose signal, or you might pick up airborne hum and noise. But those problems are a thing of the past with the Planet Waves American Stage series cables. These cables, available in 10-, 15-, 20-, and 30-foot lengths, are made from the finest materials -- including custom-designed "GeoTip" Neutrik 1/4" plugs for better conductivity and a more positive connection -- to maximize signal flow and minimize signal degradation. I've been using an American Stage cable in my rig for some time now, and I find that it provides an excellent hi-fi rendition of my guitar signal. The cable is solid and durable, and I've had zero problems with it, even with hard use. Don't use any old guitar cable that's just lying around. An American Stage cable will give you excellent tone transfer and years of use -- and that's what it's all about.
