I put these guys in a squire affinity jazzmaster and they don't disappoint! If you are a dinosaur jr. fan or not, these are the perfect upgrade for your jazzmaster. In a clean jazz setting they capture so many perfect tones, but once you add distortion and other time based effects they turn up the heat! Stacking distortions is a must with these bad boys. They are perfect for many genres of music. I run a music program at an in patient rehab where we cover all sorts of genres with our band, and they are so easy to capture a specific sound given a specific preset. I run them typically into an entry level Headrush floor modeler, or through my fender GTX 100 amp.

I bought these pickups to go into a squire affinity jazzmaster, and these things are killer. The clean tone on them is fantastic, and these things take to effects really well. The bridge pick up to me is similar to a tele sound, and the bridge pick up maintains a thick sound while still accenting the high ends of the guitar. As a cheap jazzmaster upgrade I recommend them, as a Dinosaur Jr. fan I recommend them more
